I'm not sure what the email issues are, but I guarantee that there's nothing wrong with that dealer and he's not in need of being banned. He has a long track record of reliability.

Over how much time? It normally takes a few days to get a response from many dealers, due to them being VERY busy and due to the time and date differences.

he changes email and never reply to any of his email in whatever email address you sent it to. If this dealer is showing sign of risk, i think he should be banned or move him back to probational.

I have dealt quite a bit with Robert and found him to be an excellent dealer. It isn't like dealing with Amazon, so if you don't like waiting then the rep business isn't for you

+1 I was about saying the same thing, 3 post and 9 days in the forum and posting this, if he would deal with me I tell him to find another dealer. Enough people here which appreciate your work. We will keep an eye on him.

Go easy on the noob, guys.
It takes so time to learn that these dealers are not like regular on-line stores. There is a huge learning curve in this hobby.
Mods - may want to move this to flame-free.

No, Wuga - noobs with good intentions are not flamed here. The problem is that instead of asking for advice on a communication issue, or asking if slow communications is to be expected, or simply stating that you are having difficulty getting a response and could anyone recommend another dealer to try, you immediately assert that banning, or probation at the least, should be the proper action based on your limited experience.

Next time I suggest asking advice and input instead of simply ranting about a perceived problem and assigning a proposed course of action.

(BTW - You've kinda pissed off a few of the heavy hitters around here, so I'd suggest capitulation. This is not a fight you should feel compelled to wage, on ethical grounds or any other. Just walk away and tread more lightly in future posts)

Good luck! [smilie=angel10.gif]

if you cannot have people to speak their minds, QUIT. [MOD EDIT BY AHW676 TO SAVE OP'S SKIN. GOOD LUCK AROUND HERE. BECAUSE IF YOU DON'T SMARTEN UP, YOU'RE REALLY GOING TO NEED IT.]

Open forum will always be an open forum. And, your statement about noobs, i guest you are born a rep pro. Your one liner only tell me your infantile behavior, filled with hatred and anger.

If you want to judge me, go ahead but when someone losses his/her $ because you ignore tell tale signs and stifle/oppress open conversation, i hope you eat crow.

No, good intentions do not typically get flamed in this forum. Unfortunately, if you're a brand new member and come across suggesting that the staff might not know who needs to be on probation or who needs banning, you might not make the best first impression. You'd probably feel the same if one of us walked into your place of business and started telling you how to do your job.

So I think that we've started with a bit of misunderstanding. You felt like you were doing a good deed by announcing your concerns with a certain dealer. It came across as being too assertive to some of the members.

I suggest that we all start over here. I think that you got your answer, which is that Mark is, indeed, a trustworthy dealer. You will find the same with the other dealers here and although there is no guarantee that problems won't arise, you may be assured that the staff here is very motivated to look after the membership here and to do everything it can to see that everyone, both buyers and sellers, are treated fairly.

Are you talking about this line by Guru?

I would also highly suggest that you edit your comment about guru. I could do it for you, for your protection, but I have no doubt that you would take offense at that. Assuming that you're an adult and can police your own words, I think that you can understand that a bit of discretion might be the wiser course of action. I can assure you that if you leave that the way it is, you're going to get flamed from every which direction and you will find your participation here at RWI extremely unpleasant.

Mods - may I suggest locking it up?

I can see your point. But I'd like to give the OP a chance to rethink his words and to perhaps edit them, which he won't be able to do if I lock it.
