Way ahead. Majority of Gen Pam owners have no idea if you are wearing a rep. 2nd Pam owner in 1 week to come across complimenting them on their Pam and they had no clue mine was a rep.

They see Panerai and see $$$$ signs and status. I could bet they don't know as much as we do about other models rep and gen. Do t even worry about EVER being called out. Too many variations of Panerai models out there. Only a true enthusiast or Panerai employee would suspect anything out of ordinary.

Wear it with no worries.

In the end it's just a watch. If you like it then wear it.

I wear my Gen pam000 with after market strap like from di stefano. His straps are incredible and superb quality.

Its how the person carries the watch and himsel, that matters.

Case in point. PAM000 gen owner yet does not know one of the more famous PAM models based on a historic 6152/1 PAM, the PAM372. So easy to wear a PAM, put it on a good strap, and just go about your business. :D

And "Exactly Why" It so important to give the model # In which pam combo are you wearing today, or on RG, What pam are you wearing today thread.

I mean, posting a pic is far more trouble than simply putting the # in Geesh!

There are several models that are very similar to each other. Come on Guys, stop being so Dayum Lazy! LOL!!!

I didn't put the number on there because 99% of us on RWI are well aware of the 372. but case in point the guy that quoted my post didn't know. Its as easy as that. No one will tell and no one will ever say a word to you unless to be the biggest asshole alive. I called out a guy on IG a week or so ago because of other reason but now I could care less after the week I had. Its hilarious to me now.

The Noob Pam372 is a great watch. Im curious to think that even a Panerai Employee would notice it on the wrist? Any thoughts?

Thanks Pam 1983. I usually don't care for bubble crystal, but this one is very nice indeed!

I had just come over from the wearing today thread, and so many, and some very unusual pieces, yet no description of what the heck it was. Can be frustrating for many. Especially as that is what that thread is for in the first place.

Guess It slipped my mind that I was not still on that thread. Getting old ya know! Mind is slipping. LOL!!! :)

Please overlook my rant Guy! Just old and cranky, and did I mention Senile? What were we talking about???

Knife if you like the bubble, take a look at Pam 127 and Pam 217. They have more accurate movement decoration than noob 372.

Here's my kW 217 on a panatime desert dweller tan strap.

How do you find the size of the 571? I was thinking of getting one but thinking it may be too big. I have 7.8" wrists.

I'd say short of divers like subs and po's where the metal bracelet is just right, most ppl that are into watches like to change and personalize the watch with a strap. Other ppl that just buy expensive watches because they are rich just to have one probably don't care about ever changing the strap.

Well, I was actually worried about it! But, on my 7.6 left wrist, or 7.9 right wrist, she look fantastic!

Now for the bad news. I've been wanting a nice 360 for years now. I've been wearing the 571 daily for a few weeks now, and the 360 came in this morning.

And it's so small. HUH??? A small Pam??/ Who ever herd of such a thing? That just Ain't right! :)

That's a common problem with wearing 47mm subs, if you get too accustomed to the size, the 44mm (even submersibles) will feel small.

my gen PAM 177 came with a leather and rubber band...both of which I have only used ONCE. I have at least 30+ aftermarket straps that I pick from (I have been trying to stop buying more :) )

LOL! Ain't it the truth? I have a beautiful Gen. 24, and it's setting on the watch box, wondering why I have abandoned her. ;-)

Short of selling off all of your PAMs, you have no hope of winning.
