Each person can spend his money the way he wants to. There is no rule saying that above a certain amount of money a rep is too expensive.

Reminds me of when people say buying Apple product is too expensive.

"You can get 4 LG phones for the price of an iPhone, and an Acer is a cheaper, not as pretty version of an MacBook"

$300 is about my limit. I'll tend to go higher from time to time but I would rather not. At $500 I can buy really
Nice Gen type dive and tactical watches that will take a serious beating.

...Another point is also how much money you make....

I think we would all be very surprised to see the different income levels represented here, and how much or little $500 US means to each of us.

There is only one way to tell if a new watch is worth $500. Use this guide:

1:1 Swiss Movement Ultimate Version AAAA certified are $400 to $500

Real swiss asian valjoux AAA $300 to $400

Genuine replica asian swiss eta clone AA certified $200-$300

True-boy quartz asian swiss A grade super real $100-$200

If it is being sold used on a forum, only buy watches that meet the following criteria:

1) The seller is selling only because the watch just isn't getting enough wrist time, and he knows he will regret it.

2) Someone stated that it has a Swiss movement, and as far as the seller knows it is Swiss. He never checked, because you can always trust a counterfeiter if he is a trusted dealer.

3) It is the ultimate version (this is very important)

4) someone with a strange name lumed it, or better still SUPER-lumed it

5) It has been "serviced" (the previous owner wore it while at a massage parlor)

6) The seller reserves the right to sell only to someone of his choosing, because the watch is that darn special

7) chronos work and reset to zero (it will be nice to know that they worked for him when they die on you)

Don't worry about desk diving marks. They all come out with a cape cod. Heck, body shops can perform nearly all collision repair with a cape cod and some elbow grease.
