Yes, it's all that and a bag of chips. [emoji1] It's the gold standard for "super reps."

I bought mine from Ryan and wore it for a week before sending it in for a service & pressure test. Couldn't be happier with it. Now searching for replacement strap.

Guys,

Is everyones BFF have slight movement in the rotating bezel? Tap on it with your fingernails and it sounds cheap?

Also press say at the 45 mark and the 15 mark at the same time on the rotating bezel downwards towards the case.......does it move and have slight play both closewise and anti-clockwise?

Is there a gap between the bottom of the bezel and the case? It sounds to me like the bezel isn't seated correctly as mine neither has play or sounds cheap to tap.

I popped my bezel off to realign the top marker with 12 and pressed it back in place so it is perfectly seated.

Thanks Alex. I popped it off and I think I've made it better. Its similar to the skyland with those retainer ring I just pushed up those tabs. It should make it alot tighter.

I got an issue putting the bezel back on though. Can you let me know the re-assembly steps. Basically I dont know where that bent wire goes to hold the bezel in place. Basically I cant get the bezel to click back in because of the wire. I dunno where it goes.

Found out how to do it.

Just in case anyone needs to know.

Step 1 - Mount the inner bezel with the teeth face down towards the watch and test the rotating mechanism with your fingers. Once you are satisfied with the tightness of the click insert the bent wire as you can see below. See red outline there is a small gap between the inner bezel and watch head. Just insert once edge of the bent wire and use small screw driver to push in the rest.

Step 2 - Align the bezel perfectly straight with the 12 marker. See below and then use your body weight to press. You will hear a click meaning your bezel is now back on.

Step 3 - Wear in good health. :)

I very interesting this watch, but I think it's very big for my 6.5 wrist:)::

Yes, it's a big watch. But recently I have been in an AD and I have tried on the gen. My wrist is 6.25 and I think the watch looked good on me.

Definitely, the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms will be one of my next purchases.

Just as a point of interest I looked at all the Puretime videos of this watch, CHRONO, Standard and no radiations (NR Is the one I have) and it seems they all use Allen head screws on the bracelet less than 1.5mm. I used a Torx T4 as the T3 was to small!!!

Not sure why, but folks have reported that there are both size Torx screws being used. In fact in another post someone said that they had three size 3 and one size 4 Torx screws on their watch. Silly inconsistency !!

AFA the watch, I own a Rose Gold and just purchased a Blue Dial. I sort of wanted to wait a while to see if they came out with a V2 of the Blue dial with the dial edge guilloche pattern like the gen, but I ran out of patience. I really like the BP Fifty Fathoms. To me they are a very well thought out, well balanced watch that can be worn with a suit or Polo and Khaki's.

Another nice thing about this watch, it's great right out the box, unlike a lot of our other reps that to get to the level of accuracy of the FF, require a lot of very expensive mods. Buy an AP, Panerai or Rolex and before you know it, you have doubled your investment with relumes, dials, hands, crystals, bracelets, crowns/tubes and expensive movement services. all you might want to do with this watch is a different strap or two, just to change the look.

I believe the lug bars are 0.9mm allen sockets, not torx sockets.

I used a set of Torx screwdrivers, T5 was the right fit
