I am also a new user and I just ordered my first watch from Elliot.
Since this was my first order I asked Elliot a lot of question regarding the process and payment coz I did not want to mess things up.
I used Revolut for payment and there are some steps you should follow to make sure that he gets his money quickly!
Just ask him if you are unsure and he will guide you through the process.
Use WhatsApp for communication.

Once he received my payment he sourced my watch within 1-2 days for so to send me QC. (If you are unfamiliar with this term, you should find a lot of info on this forum)
When I accepted the QC he shipped the watch and after 1-2 days I got the tracking number.8 Days later I received the watch and it is now on my wrist.
I am very happy with the whole ordering process and also the communication with Elliot.
I never got a feeling that this was a scam.

For me, the quality of this VSF Sumbariner 126610 is perfect but I am not a experienced watch user so..
You can find more info about my order in my thread: First order from Elliot (Submariner 126610LV VSF3235)

I can vote for Elliot.

regards
Thank you very much for taking the time to explain your process. I sent money and now waiting for QC. Let’s see what happens. As for communication I am struggling a bit as it dosent seem his English is the best but it looks like the money has been received and everything should be ok. Super excited.

I know exactly what you mean and this is why I usually try to formulate my questions as "yes" and "no" questions.
Also if there are options I usually write my questions like . "Should I go for A or B". This will make it a lot more easy for him to answer.

When it comes to the product itself I did not ask Elliot about it. I spend some 2-3 weeks beforehand to find out what watch I wanted, reading this forum up and down. There was also a lot of info on a Gen Rolex page about the movement that I could read.
When I first started I thought a clean watch was like a not dirty watch but I soon learned that this was not the case :)

My next watch will most likely be the Daytona and I asked Elliot if he could source the Clean (CF) version of it.
He answered me back that only BTF is available and I have now spent some time researching this BTF version so when I order I don't need to ask him about the watch and the quality.

Hope this helps
And good luck with your order
