Hey chaps, i last week preorder the galaxy s4 as my contract end at next month. And today i was told by my operator through message that i have to set an appointment for saturday on tmr 10am onwards. But I'm not sure whether i should go and register for the appointment. Cus i somewhat a apple guy. Im currently using iPhone 4. And previously i was using iPhone 3g and 3gs. And i been hearing samsung phone battery drains very fast. The worst part is i intend to buy the S4 and download espier launcher and that confirms drains the battery even faster. I need iOS looks as i love the looks of iOS. But the drawback in the iPhone 5 was the screen and the drawback on the S4 is the screen is too big very hard to hold and use on one hand unlike iPhone. So any help is appreciate. Thanks

Stick with iPhone 5. Can bring to army camp during reservist. S4 is a over priced cheap android phone. (Place both feet firmly on the ground and prepare for haters)

You're a dumbass if you have to ask us what you want. lol JK. But really, go test drive them. I would also look at a GS3 off contract if I were you.

my fren is now using iphone5 and willing to sell his eventhough not even reach 4months yet
just to buy the new s4.
no contract one.
:)

the feature is really nice on s4, and the screen is slightly bigger than s3.
yes the screen might very hard to hold unless you are big as Lebron James where
he maybe hold it like an ipod. :D

on other hand, the iphone 5 screen is very small.
hard to use in case of range such as keyboard, reading, etc. compare to s3 / s4

choose wisely and its all based on ur personal preferences, fellas.

Have you used an Galaxy before? Try it out. The last time I used I don't like it. It's not responsive to touch unlike the iPhone. But buy something based on specs, buy something that serve its purpose best.

Look! A dancing bear! It's so cool! It can dance... But that's about it. Look at all the useless dancing bear application S3 have and how many of us use them? Smile to unlock? What about fap to unlock next? ;-)

Reservist? Lol. I haven't even enter the army.. But what i actually like about the S4 is because i watch videos, play games and etc. And my parents also tell me to take S4 since i mainly using iOS.

R2D4, My sis using galaxy s3 and she sometimes lend me use. But she sometimes complain saying that there is a glitch on the dialer application. And she bought during the end of november last year after one week, there was a problem for charging and the phone was sent to the service center for repair after that all was well (hopefully)..

Im still considering. And imagine the kind of feeling where you are the only person in class that using the S4? Lol.. Since iPhone 5 there was a guy in my class using.

As always: ipad/iphone for fun and show off. - android devices for serious professional stuff.

I have just that combination :)

NASA currently has three standard Android Nexus phones orbiting the earth and uses them as satellites part of the PhoneSat project. Suck on that Apple, you can't beat that with your pretty phones.
If you're a soccer mom or a 5 year old posting Instagram pics get an iPhone, if you want more from your phone get a true OS. Proud owner of a Nexus phone with custom cooked ROM.

Preordered the s4 in black. Should be in my hands by the end of the week. Unfortunatly they don't provide the Exynos 5 Octa eight core 1,6 GHz version where i live. It will be the 1,9 Ghz quad core version. Fast(er) enough me thinks :)

Canada, but in Hungary... for now
i had the iPhone 4 and now have the 5 and absolutely love it.

I'm a "phone in the front pocket of my jeans" guy and it's the right size and weight for me.
The screen is amazing and after jailbreaking it (gasp) I have been able to modify it to my satisfaction

Nexus phones are the only Android phones that deserve their price to me.Clear smooth and awesome prices.Google knows the job..
Used to have HTC one X and GS3..
Both good phones i rooted and fitted custom Roms blabla bla..
Now i have the iphone 5 ...Design is unbeatable to me LCD screen is lighter than Super Amoled so you can see nice in the sun and everything is smooth..Android phones overheat really easy after some serious use thay claim they do and then stuck...Iphone never did...I am telling all this after been an Android enthusiast...

You want a bigger screen...Take the GS4..It is good but don't overheat it..Battery drains because it has to do with the white colour of its screen...

Ignore Tanweekiat (seriously tanweekiat, read over your comments and tell me they are not bias and reasonable)

I'm an ex-iPhone 4 owner now with a Galaxy S3 and a Nexus 7. No, I'm not a Apple-hater, I love OSX (would always choose Mac>others) and their iPod range (including the Touch)

If you wanna get more for your money def the S4. (I have no idea where tanweekiat got the idea that Apple products are not overpriced and Samsung is)

IPhone 5 (and most other Apple products) are made with form>function, its up for you to decide what you prefer: heavy, shiny, and nice metallic feeling iPhone, or the slim, light, durable S4 with a big removable battery and SD Card.

But the thing with iPhone, is that it 'just works'. Android is more complicated and has more things to worry about, but Android can do many thing that even a Jailbroken iPhone cant do.

iOS' ecosystem is better and has more apps (most mainstream apps are available and are just as good on Android) but some apps you can only get on Android (iOS limitations)

With hardware, Samsung will always out-class their competitors (after all, Samsung basically makes the iPhone and most if their competitors). The S4 has a octa-core (EIGHT cores) processor, 1080p Super AMOLED display, NAND memories, etc that they hold exclusive right to because they make it them themselves and wouldn't sell it to their competitors.

So choose your self.

My phone got water damage due to an heavy rain. Call apple to review my case to replace the malfunctioned phone and yet received top notch service and an exemption for an one to one exchange (the phone is 4 months at that time). And this is what i call service.

And if number of cores or rams make you jizz, go ahead. It doesn't matter to me. As long as my apps can run smooth and responsive.

Search the market for unbranded android phone and compare the prices and you know what I mean. See the finishing on an apple product and compare with galaxy. Take a look at the glass and metal cross over at the back of the iPhone 5. No gap. The finishing is superb. Not many phone company will pay attention to these fine details.
