YES the 2 year old did that on the iPhone 4! No idea how she did... managed to get past the code and play music!

Lol! I found mine trying to purchase a few apps, luckily the iTunes password is a little more complex or I might of had to start enrolling her at Mi5. Good luck with the phone though, I reckon you might be able to pull it off.

If the mainboard is intact possibly, but I seriously doubt it
You should casually stroll into the apple store and be like "I have a small crack in the screen do you think you could look at it?" And then bust that out.

hey, Smidsy!

You sound like a guy who enjoys challenges (esp. with kids around), I think it's fixable. As someone else noted, duct tape works wonders, as does Super Glue!! Thanks for the story!!

Parental Responsibility is defined by the Children Act 1989 as being all the rights, duties, powers and responsibility which a parent of a child has in relation to the child and his or her property.

Looks like your little 'un is too young to assume responsibility, So that just leaves you d'oh

Good luck, Phil

Smidsy, I dropped mine from chest height and it incurred more structural damage that that! Although, mine still worked for the most part (cam, wifi and other auxiliary functions aside) and I'd wager yours doesn't?

But - and here's the truly amazing thing - I went to the apple store to have it replaced. I was completely honest with the guy and we got along great. He basically coached me into telling him the battery wasn't great and proceeded to give me a brand new one for FREE! amazing service, great bloke too! Next day I took him some lotto scratches as a thank you and he wouldn't accept them! So, I scratched 'em myself and won $7!!!! Lol

Try THAT and see how ya go, brother! :p

Sounds like a great guy.

I think you should get him a nice rep watch and get him signed up to RWI.
