Where I need to be.
Hont’s site shows one from ZF. Mistake or old?

Old and mistake both.

Old- because it’s donkey years since the 2824 was used in any RO rep.

Mistake- because ZF never produced a 15450 to my knowledge. I think the first factory which produced it was JF.

Hont even has the BP AP15300 listed, which was long been discontinued. Some of these TDs should update/correct their websites.

I know...sometimes I get my hopes up when looking for something (like a diagono magnesium that TDs still have listed) but they're not actually available :(

5/10 - Placed order with @jtimewatch
5/12 - Received QC photos and approved
5/30 - Received watch CONUS (Delay was USPS fault because of MDW and just the fact that they are slow)

Overall first experience with @jtimewatch was perfect and I am very happy with the watch. Sized the bracelet to my tiny wrist and still think 36/37mm is the perfect size. Please enjoy two quick photos and positivity only because I want to enjoy my watches. Thank you RWI

Maybe it is the lighting but that dial looks really off. No fault of yours obviously but it confirms what I have been saying about the IPF 15450 dial.

Hopefully, someone is kind enough to post pics of the gray one.. I think the image of the blue looks off because of the lighting.

Due to the discussion of the APSF, I placed an order for that model with grey dial (both blue and grey dial seem better on the APSF). Not sure if it helps, but I will try to post in that thread

Yes. It's not dark blue as gen is in ambient lightning. Otherwise looks decent.

Folks, for your quick reference here are some pics and a video of my JF 15450 with a gen blue dial. The pics were not post-edited (except for cropping):

In the video my 15450 is on the left (ofc 🙂):

I did not read the text, and wondering why it looked so damn good! Enjoy that beauty. I am sure the blue gen dial was not easy to find (or to pay for!)

Sharing some info: the bezel screws are attached to the bezel so difficult (if not impossible) to mod, so pls pay attention to those in your QC. I made the mistake of thinking it can be recessed by modding

Like the heads are fake…well, the whole watch is fake but…you know what I mean…fake, fake? If so, how do you QC screws that aren’t screws…just saying.

Or are they real screws epoxied in with something like Locktite? If so, a little heat and the screws should come loose from the bezel and you’re good to go. A soak in acetone (nail polish works) will also soften epoxy to the point that you can push the screws out from the underside.

I wanted them recessed as mine protruded a little. I know this isn’t necessary “gen like” but I like the aesthetic as I think it looks neater. So I would have paid more attention to that during QC as it’s visible.

I think they are fake fake but defer to @legend as he was the one that made this discovery
