Most common answer is that prices fluctuate. It's how these high level builds go. A gen dial might go for $1k this month but next month, oops, no gen dials at that price anymore, so maybe $1.4k, etc.Why can't the price be written in the first post? Is it rep SO exclusive that it cant't even be mentioned? I mean I've seen franken builds thats been sold for 6000K+ here but the price is always stated
This is a joke, these guys never answer, why even bother?
You are very wise my friend, this will always cause a decline in amplitude which if sudden enough will exact more wear all the way down the gear train and the trains rubies . the dial is a refurb at best as it can’t be a true gen with the canon pinion height , width and gear shape, etc. I wasn’t going to say anything about the modded people but guys come on. Ask him what the balance is made from, and the balance spring . What Chamfering burrs they used on the dial side to accommodate the jumper and its mechanism. Is it a tension set or long gear impulse. What screws were shortened or further sunk into the plate for clearance. It’s a beautiful rep watch no doubt but a timekeeping tool, no. Well a paperweight is a tool, so I’m 50/50. It took AP about six years for these dial side changes. Why didn’t they just contact these guys? lol anyway I hope im not being a dick. don’t assume value until you have assumed the knowledge if you can help it .Is the instant date switch mod making the movement less reliable?
Read this in another forum and Im not sure how to think about that
I think it will be easier and more functional if they include the price with the amazing pictures and presentation. Dont quite understand why they avoid to include the price? it will alleviate them from having to answer so many PMs or their costumers (US) having to send PM to inquire for price.
Keep it simple and efficient
