What do you use to tight the screws without scratching them?

Just a screw driver with lot of care and do it slowly. I saw the worker use a wooden or maybe a plastic screw driver to tighten the screws when assembling the watch, on a youtube video

Hello Everyone,

I just received QC pics for mine and it seems as though the 9 o'clock marker is crooked and the bezel screws at 5 o'clock and 7 o'clock aren't aligned. Any input is appreciated. Thanks

Sir, yes, they look crooked to me. The bezel screws, from what I understand, aren't always aligned even in gen... I would be much more put off by the crooked marker...

Thanks for your input. I asked for another pic of the watch to see if it's the angle, but now I think I'll reject it.

I purchased the bracelet separate from the watch (I bought it on rubber). Trusty might be able to source the watch on the metal bracelet if that's something you want. I'm positive they can also source just the bracelet. They are super helpful and have been super fast to reply to any of my questions. I believe I paid $188 for the bracelet. Worth every penny.

I asked a strap seller who said that he has JF version for 240 GBP and another one that has to be modded (for 140 GBP). Which one do you have?

Does anyone know what has to be modded? Is it easy to do?

Do you think I should get a metal strap?

The metal strap is beautiful, but the rubber strap really suits the diver. I like how it ties into the rubber gasket under the bezel and the rubber on the crowns. For the price of the metal bracelet, you could spend a some more and get a 15400 for the next rep purchase. As you probably already know, the 15400 comes with the metal bracelet and the blue dial model would be different enough from the diver to make it feel like a different watch. A black dial diver with a rubber strap and a blue dial 15400 with the steel bracelet. That's a sweet combo! Just my 2 cents, but either way it will look awesome.

Hi JT, thanks for your ideas. I do have a 15400 already (even before the diver) but in black. Are those bracelets interchangeable? From pictures it looks like two different straps?! The diver one looks really great an iconic.

Received QC pics from Sead on this jf Diver v9.5. Most pictures show good alignment but the next picture taken from another angle shows otherwise.

Is it just me or maybe the watch being slanted at an angle?

ok - i think you got the sarcasm hehe

your watch is absolutely fine and the misalignment you mentioned is not really a misalignment that you would notice with your eyes and on your watch on the wrist.

don't use 50x magnification to control the quality of your REP.

i would green light the watch in a heartbeat
