Seems way too late for a serious reply to this thread, but here goes...
Regarding heavy handed rules with photo tags on here, yet no rules on gen forums - just remember that we're dealing with illegal goods and criminal activity. Not implying that we are all thieves and murderers, but it's still crossing the line. I don't mind a few extra rules to account for that and somehow keep us more honest in a dishonest hobby.
Regarding phone numbers - hell no. Hate to say it, but the average fake/rep watch wearer in the real world is a douchey arsehole. There's bound to be a fair share here too. Lots of fantastic people as well, but still... There are dozens of people on here I wouldn't mind giving my number to, but probably hundreds of others I wouldn't.
Hi raji, I don't know what kind of discussion this thread has descended into but interesting response. The talk about photo tags was while I was drunk the other night, but I do stick by what I said, and it wasn't aimed at the requirement to put tags on sales (as is a good habit) or heavy handedness by mods etc, moreso it is aimed at the expectations that buyers have with sales these days are a little out of sync with how they should be for 2nd hand reps. I'll try clarify. I noticed a few sales threads on rwg.cc recently where posters commented on no tagged pics and kicked up a storm, only to be told tagged pics aren't a requirement on there, even had one guy say 'read the rules'
Anyway no biggy, what I was getting at is that lately with increases in scams and buyers thinking paypal is a try before you buy arrangement, also plenty of sellers not disclosing enough detail, marking stuff up, buyers pricing things up as if they are selling the watch, having huge expectations about how much coverage they deserve (a full refund on a 2nd hand watch if it stops working a week later or after they drop it for instance?) Sellers declaring gen bought springbars on the watch turns it into a franken
