I know the feeling of searching and not finding any posts or videos on the topic you’re working on. I hope this thread will turn into a wealth of info you want.
I went with the blue and it’s a good looking watch. I almost went green but you can’t go wrong either way. It’s gotta a nice sunburst dial that really shows itself in the sunlightYes, atm I'm very busy with building works at our property and also the workshop is busy, so I will order the spirit from Amazon and try the method out first, there's no hurry.
I feel a lot more confident now thanks to the contributors here and now I understand why it won't come off, also that the Bezel Insert is likely not a press fit.
Funny you should mention Sky Dweller I have that on my wanted list too, not quite made my mind up as to Blue Dial SS/SS or Green Dial SS/SS, Green would be the sensible choice as I have plenty of Blue Dials already

Quit being a wimp and get the insert out brOoOO
Definitely not the watch to buy if you are a low key individual....
I’m in the northern part of Florida and have a weekend getaway place on the Suwannee river. I need to start using it but there’s no f ing way I could barefoot much less do it at 40+ mph. What possessed you to get out there and do that wild stuff?LOL, it's more about time, Sunday is best quiet day, and today I have to take my dear Minx to the hospital in Inverness which is 120 + miles round trip so today is screwed.
The other thing is that despite searching I haven't found a replacement insert for one of these, and I am a sossidge fingered old git when it comes to being a learner to these repairs.
If I had a replacement it would be out and done by now.
Love it !! Ickle Moi ?Low Key
Have you seen some of the cars and powerboats plus the nutty sports I get up to ?
Here's an example from last year ....
Barefoot past Eilean Donan Castle , 42mph with no skis

Anyway, nuff shit about me, I would just like to thank everyone who has given me advice here, and I will report back here perhaps even snap a few pics of doing the job and also do a "how to", since I couldn't find one, and someone else someday will need to do this too.
Cheers![]()

That’s incredible all of it.Simple answer is I have always been an adrenaline and big boyz toyz junkie, and I have absolutely no fear of anything.
To elaborate, the worst thing anyone could do with me was drop a gauntlet like that can't be done / you can't do that etc.
I never back down from a challenge.
If it has an engine I have likely owned it and most of my toyz have been tuned and modified
I started on 2 skis, kneeboard, then wakeboarding became popular, started barefooting and ended up competition 'footin, that neck hold is a hard thing to learn, as was going backwards barefoot. I went to Florida trained with Ron Scarpa, the multi times World Champ, he taught me to do backwards one foots. I've also been involved in many disciplines of Motor powered Sports, both driving in events, and also building one off vehicles and boats for customers.
Speed wise, the fastest I have travveled on water is over 140 mph in one of my offshore powerboats, (aptly named Brown Trousers).
I have managed 58 mph Barefoot and 102 mph on Racing Waterskis, also I have been well over 200mph in cars and on bikes, still hit it ocassionally in a couple of my cars.
I'll stop there, because it just sounds like bragging, which I'm not. There are folks about who have gone way faster at these things and competed at way higher levels than I did.
Every now and then, when there are particular discussions here, just like on Car Forums over the years, I throw a pic or so into the mix.
I am not a religious guy, I do believe in karma and I am very grateful to the way my life cards panned out including being given the where-with-all and opportunities to fund and do all this when I was younger, my father and mother bless them were potless, so there was no inheritance, I worked hard and still do.
Albeit in a more sedate way Mel and I are still enjoying life.
Compared to some of my other younger family and friends I am still pretty fit and agile for a 62 year old, but I'm feeling the pain of arthritis most days in recent years.
Hope you do get some good weather. Absolutely miserable at the moment, had to get through fleece back on!Golf club grip glue solvent arrived today, I will get to this Bezel repair ASAP, which is weather dependent as I will be working on an outside building project each day it is fine weather, forecasts (yeah yeah yeah) suggest the next 2 days might be good, so likely be this weekend coming![]()
A dremel is not good enough for a YM2, it deserves a chainsaw.excuse to get the dremel out
