Pretty sure @smoke mentioned in the Yachtmaster thread that the 2836 was trash...but my recollection could be off it was a pretty lengthy thread and was late when I was reading it lol. I think it looks good but the movement being reliable and serviceable is important to me as well.

How is the 3130 movement in the JF?

There's a video on angus' site

Found it, thanks.

Endlinks on this look recessed, exactly same as the ones on my Noob V7 (I guess you can be lucky), but that hour hand looks a little broader.

The SEL in the video does in fact look non-recessed like the V7, so it's wrong.

Look at a gen pic, this is what i mean:

Yes, I know what you mean, but I feel that the V7 I now have does a much better job of emulating this feature than the late model V6S which I got rid of.

I also thought the JF ND in the video wasn't too bad, from the little I could see - definitely better than my Noob V6S.

I love the gen and TC SEL - nice pic btw : )

Would be a nice franken project though. Gen dial and crystal, remove the date module on sh3135. Nobody that is going to look between the legs...uuuhhh lugs ;)

As requested here are some pictures of my JF's sel taken with a macro lens 10x. For me they look amazing, really gen like. The best on the market at the moment.

Here as requested a picture takes in the dimlight. Marks still looks great. As told, for me the best replica bezel at the moment.

An eyesore? Really?

I think you're right, nobody can spot a replica by a cannon hand size. We are talking because we watch a picture maybe we can zoom and compare at the moment with a gen photo.
I think that on a fake submariner no data should be pay more attention to the bezel, marks, paint color and general case set sizes. That's what someone can look when you have the Watch on your wrist.

...and here is a comparison between the two models, on the left side we have nNokb V7 than on the right side there is JF SH3130. Obviously the picture has been taken with a bit different conditions of light but almost same position.

I really cant understand why they soften the inner parts of the Lugs, and the outer part of the SEL on the bracelet... Man these factories must be retarded or sum.. Just keep the damn inner lugs raw and this will pop like a gen.. Razor sel.

So whats the real points between the noob with 2836 and JF with SH3130:

BEZEL: JF has a great color of the bezel compared with Noob, but it has a worse cut of number on the ceramic bezel compared with Noob. Also i prefer JF pearl.

CUT OF BEZEL ASSEMBLY TEETH
: great on both compared to the old version with processing residues (like from V5 to V1 version on Noob). JF has slightly polished them.

SEL:
seems that on JF there are a slightly better sel compared to actual crappy SEL on all Noob V7. The best sel, the best chest, and the best clasp were only in the first batch noob V6S, and this is currently unbeatable.

REAHUT: both are shiny, but only noob has the one with amazing double engraved that it's more correct for polished clasp.

HANDS: Boths seems good, but no one noticed that the minute hand in the JF is bigger than the Noob, so it's more correct in the JF. "CP" of sec hand it's also better on JF.

MOVEMENT: a classic eta clone 2836 on noob and the SH3130 ("Yuki" movement, the only real rolex clone) that's cool for franken project.

CRWON GUARDS: Really su**s on both watches. The worst in the internal profile are from the Noob watch, the worst in the external profile are the JF watch.

CROWN: On visual impact 80% of the replica rolex crowns look smaller compared to genuine. This should be updated on both.

DIAL: both dial have wrong 1000ft = 300m layout, but on JF the symbol "=" it's a little bit smaller. Only the LF V3 dial has the correct layout.
