... Wooooo group bath..
hm.. idk y but I have a feeling D4m would be the person to pee in the pool
.. just a feeling :)

Funny thing is that my kids had a group fun night at the local Junior High School. My youngest kids class (kindergarten) was taking their turn in the pool and I had to be in there with him (many other parents as well,, small kids ya know..) and as I was talking to one of the teachers who was in the pool with her son I found myself walking through a really warm spot.. she saw the look on my face and started laughing... I did not even have to tell her what happened .... she led me over to the side of the pool where heated water was jetting out... she said.. dont worry.. I panicked too..

hahahahaha

:)

I was a lifeguard for 6 summers, for pools, lakes and the beach.
I can tell you when it comes to the beach we love getting into the water
when it comes to a lake it depends on the lake
when it comes to a pool ...we do everything in our power to stay out of it for as long as possible, because 90% of the time its not a heated water jet.

You're trying to hold on to an image of me tiptoe'ing around in a public restroom trying my hardest not to touch anything?

Well, if that turns you on, you should know that I just went to visit my sister at college. She's living in a house that was built probably a hundred years ago (and doesn't look like it's been updated much since then) and the bathroom there gave me the willies worse than most public restrooms. So you can now imagine me trying to shower without touching anything in the shower stall. And add to that the complication that the water randomly and abruptly turns scalding hot or freezing cold at intervals, so you have to squirm away from the water without banging into anything.

How's that? :)

are they good pets ?

intelligent - such as know their names and respond to commands ?

Do they act kind of like large dogs ?

The two cute ones are part of our breeding stock but are quite tame. Goats are smart and will come to their name, stay etc and if you're real keen can even be house trained!

Rocky, this fella:
P2060018.jpg

thinks he's a big dog beacuse he was brought up that way. He's four foot high at the shoulder so gives folk a start when he comes up looking for scratches or food. Great guard too. Most won't even leave their car :) He is a performer and does medival festivals with us every year and has been in print and on TV many times.

Would you belive that this lazy bugger is a three grand stud animal?
P2060016.jpg

No, not dead, sleeping.

Goats prefer weeds to grass so are great clearing machines. They are especialy usefull to keep the weeds down in horse paddocks. Allways get at least two tho as they get lonley otherwise. Leave horns on for pet goats even in dairy breeds like Rocky (He's a Sayan) as they make great handles. Have males nutered if the're pets as they stink otherwise. And I meen STINK! The personality is amazing, every goat I have ever had is an indervidiual. You get comanding, cheaky, lazy, bounceing off everything, whatever. All different. Rocky for example is convinced he will melt in rain. Slightest drop of the wet stuff and he screams and heads for cover. Said he was spoiled as a kid didn't I?

Anything else goatey?

I think that the question you should be focusing on is whether they'll play well with your hedgehogs!

BTW, if your roommate wasn't big on having your girlfriend around, how do you think he'll react to a pair of goats? (And if you think it will turn him on, would you do us the favor of not telling us?)

well I also have a bunny,
for about 3-4 weeks now.
(shes a year 1ish old, litter trained and house trained.)
so its nice we can let her run around the house most of the day w/ out worrying about her getting hurt.

:)

Twixie (my rabbit) and ezra aka mrs fluffy face, get along pretty good surprisingly

@ col, my mom was / is thinking about getting 2 goats.
prob is where we are (boston) gets pretty darn cold in winter....
and I'll be honest we haven't given it to much research as of yet.
Your pics have inspired me to start reading up on them though :)

Seventh: A few other things.

1/ Goats will destroy any attempt at a garden so the house yard MUST be goat proof.
2/ Goats love standing on things. Any vehicle parked where they can get to it will be goated. I will take some shots of our poor Commodore (the 4 door cooking version of what you guys got as the GTO) when I get a chance. You will see.
3/ Goats live for thirty plus years so if you're going to bring them up as pets it's going to be a long term relationship.
4/ The temp in Bean Town is not a problem for several breeds. In fact for a couple it may get a tad hot in summer. They will need a good shelter but the cold weather breeds have glycol in their veins, or so it seems.
5/ Goats require a high level of fenceing. 7wire barb or 4 barb and two electric (3 and 2 will work at a pinch). They will be capable of walking thru anything else without even breaking stride. Anyone who teathers a goat should be shot. Left untethered a horned goat at least has a chance against dogs etc, a tethered one has none.

How did we end up on farm animals? And how could a bunny be entertaining?

what about a playboy bunny??

I'm ashamed that I hadn't thought of that myself. But then again, I might have been too disturbed that Seventh posted a shot of the sodomy end of his bunny around this crowd. You know that SOMEONE is going to be interested.

@Fakey: I think that the bunny is for companionship, not entertainment. Just like the hedgehog. Unless Seventh is training them to have deep, meaningful conversations too.

@Seventh: Holy crap. Tell your mom that those goats sound like a serious commitment and a whole lot of trouble, especially to keep in Boston. What does she want to do with them anyway? Milk them?

You know, you wrote "hedge job" instead of "hedgehog". Which sounds almost as bad.

And you know that hedgehogs have quills don't you? My guess is that a hedgehog would not come out as painlessly as it went in. I mean, for the user. It sucks for the hedgehog either way.
