I don't mean to be rude, but i think you've missed the point of QC photos entirely.

QC photos are the buyers' way to ensure they're getting exactly what they order, no a defective watch with it's hands fallen off or screws missing.

They are not for the buyers to get the whole community to come pick apart a rep even though you've admitted not being able to find any flaws! And flaws are inherent in any rep, otherwise they'll be gen.

The management has already come down to try to stop these errant posting of QC photos, postings which, are really giving the dealers a hard time.

If this post was meant satirically, i apologize for missing the point entirely, but seriously, 'font size bring too small'?

@HPoirot - I may be wrong, but I don't think the OP intended to get opinions on any QC photos, but rather, the rep in general compared to the gen. Think what the OP is actually trying to say is that it is a pretty damned good rep, and if there's any tells, he'd like to hear about it.

While the watch is on your wrist, no one can tell its a rep based on the movement. I believe the top 3 giveaways would be the color of the AR in the crystal, the date window cutout, and the height of the crystal. You would have to either be examining the watch so up-close (to which that point you might as well ask him out on a date), or be a huge Hublotista to spot any of this.

But will wait a little while to see what comes out. :)

I would say the purple AR tint, height of the crystal and the movement's bridge are tells. (The bridge is meant to be plain and 'shiny' not dull and ridged)

i sincerely apologize for jumping the gun without reading properly. There's been way too many of threads like this in the forums.

Thank you, OP for being the bigger man and not getting offended.

I think the sub dial & the date window cutting is not so crisp on a CF dial as opposed to the flat black dial on the SS model. It is evident from the pics below taken from a few TD's sales threads...It could also be that the sub dial circles look unevenly cut on a CF dial because of the contrast which is sort of absent in a flat black dial with flat black subdials..Please note, I am not trying to say that V6 from any particular dealer is not upto the mark but that V6 CF from almost every dealer, has this potential dial problem...IMO.

Look at the subdial at 6.......the cutting around 8 on subdial at 6.

Watch.aholic- I agree, I have seen some rough cuts around the date window but my finish is quite nice. I will post some pics in a few

I appreciate the notes on the AR color and crystal height. Would a 2geek crystal fix both of those and does anyone know if they are compatible? TY

Here is my thread with pics of the gen from every angle- very helpful IMO

Hi bluffer and watchaolic
many thanks for your info
As you can see there are some different quality of date windows in reps.
It is normal for a CF dial type
That suggests that perhaps the CF dial is made of true fiber (I don't know if Carbon, but fiber)

As always, you can see more pics and comparisons about date windows in the "Official Thread" HBB V6 posts #89 and #97

Although my time in the rep world has been relatively short, this is by far the most excited I have been about a rep watch. Especially since it was Hublot that first brought me to these forums! :)
