This started life as a Noob AP RBII back in the day. Those in the know will recall the time of the custom deco plate project by Slaughterer long before JF got on board with that. James had made I don't know how many limited number pieces, and I had one of those installed by him. I loved it. The watch got an upgrade of an AP Bands RBII strap and a real Titanium deployant buckle rather than the SS original from Noob.
As many of you will know, the old Noob 7750's were crap and eventually, it shat the bed. At a G2G some time back, I was chatting with Rolie from next door, and he offered to do a movement swap for me for a newer more reliable JF 7750, he had one from a donor watch I could buy cheap and he installed it. I think I gave about £100 for the movement and swap. He installed the deco plate on the JF movement, as this was still before JF brought out their deco plate version.
Since then, I have barely worn it. This is mostly because I tend to wear my 44mm AP's, but truth be told, I can't stand the datewheel. The old Noob DW had an ivory background and a typical 'classic' font, but the JF ones were a basic font, black on white. I see it every time I look at it. I know I could get a newer JF classic DW or maybe even a custom installed, but I'm at the point of ploughing some money into another project (not watch related) and I could do with a bit of cash.
Price breakdown as follow:
$650 - Original Noob watch
$175 - Slaughterer Deco plate (with installation) - may not be exact on this but I remember it being about that price
$180 - AP Bands strap - I got it on offer at £145GBP, call it $180USD
$ 35 - Ti depoyant
£1,040 - Total
Asking £525 which is equal to $665.
The bad bits, there is a scuff in the Ti brushing on the top of hte case between the bezel and plots, which I've tried to capture in the pictures. Also, one of the CB screws is missing, as seen.
Original strap will be included with the watch, I don't know if I still have the SS one somewhere or if I sold it, but price pakes up for that. Shipping within the UK is included (RM Special Delivery) but I am happy to ship anywhere in the world at cost of shipping and risks on buyer unless you want it fully insured (again at cost).
