P6000 is quite thick for a simple movement with just s smal sec. comlication. They should be able go get the thickness right.
The dial is pretty much a 1314 dial. Both VSF and TTF got it well.

I'm quite optimistic for this release.

So c'mon HWF make us happy!

Let me be pessimistic.
P.6000 reps are a thing from some time already and they are always too thick.
Of course. And HW is not super high level like old H Fac, they cant even do 111 Pam correct 😅

Is Belkin better in quality than these factories?
I appreciate his efforts but they all seem off to me and not 1:1. His Radiomir cases seem off somehow. The sides are flat and don’t have the smooth curving the gen or old radiomir reps have. And don’t even mention the price.

Belkin is a good option for a custom build that if you are going down that path I suggest you ask for a plain non sunburst dial.

I think there are some improvements he needs to do

1) His sunburst dials have some issues under certain light. You can see little dots and inconsistencies with the paint. It doesn't look good especially if you want to take photos and stare at the dials like me. But you can see these inconsistencies with your naked eye. I think he needs to add more layers of paint or something is off. You shouldn't see little dots at certain angles on any sunburst.

2) His crystals he uses are not good enough. They are milky and not clear. I think he should change suppliers on this front.

Otherwise his watches are good and probably the most you can expect for the price point for a custom build.

Agreed. But also his radiomir cases specifically aren’t 1:1 making them look really cheap.

I think Belkin presents them as homages more than reps - which I appreciate, it also means he doesn't have to endure 1:1 shenanigans. His case finishing is top notch though.

You're missing the point of Belkin's work/builds. He doesn't offer 1:1 - period. From my experience through many builds with him, he would never say that he can perfectly match any aspect of a gen Panerai. As @Reaps mentioned above, he builds custom watches with the parts and tools he has available to him (in a war zone) through his resources. He is more than willing to use any specific parts/case sets etc that you send him for a build, so if you want a perfectly shaped Rad case - you can find/ship one for him to use. On many occasions, I have needed to persuade him to make a certain dial because he does not want expectations to be raised above what he is capable of providing.

As for his pricing - I don't know what you would expect to pay for a custom watch built and finished to your specifications and with a clean, serviced movement inside? I feel he's beyond reasonable.

I'm not sure where you're getting your hand built, serviced, bespoke watches from, but they must be incredibly cheap if they beat @Belkin12 for value.
