I have ordered a big bang and was wondering if it is possible to switch the 7750 out with a better swiss chrono movement? Has anyone tried and is it even possible? Thanks!!

It would be feasible if you got the low beat movement rep to use as your base. The lowbeat 21.6 A7750 shares the same hand sizes as the gen. Now your problem will be getting a Tri-Compax layout Swiss 7750 to do the transplant. In as many years as I have been in this hobby I have seen maybe 2 of these for sale on Ebay. I have seen more but they are in watches and I just couldn't bring myself to junk a genuine for a replica.

What about putting the A7750 in the gen? Swapping? Strange, I know, but would it work?

Again, this is therory, if you would use the 21.6 lowbeat then I am sure you could get it to work. I can just see you explaining that to Hublot during a service. LOL

Guys,

he wants to swap to an ETA 7750 when I understand this. So this swap on an HBB has been done twice by our friend in Canada, Ziggy! Here is a link

I have followed up this story because I was interested in buying that watch. You find more details in RWC but all I know is that the swap was about 1500 USD and Ziggy said he would not do it again.
