Pretty impressive. From the looks of that video, he can service a Rolex in less than an hour, other than the time it takes to clean the parts, which isn't shown. I doubt if it's true in reality.

It's amazing how he makes the hands drop into place perfectly the first time. And it turns over exactly at 12.

Many of the parts get cleaned in a sonic bath, gaskets get lubricated (if new), pressure testing is done after servicing.....generally, a 'smith will have your watch for a few days if serviced by appointment..

The bare fingers on the plates and dial edges at the beginning would have failed him at my watchmaking school. He gloved up by the end and used better technique, but he probably left some skin oils on the edge of the dial that were not cleaned off. Finger cots look weird, but they save time and prevent fingerprints.

man i really wish there was a watch smith school or courses in canada. i would love to learn to service and mod my own watches

prob didnt wear them them to start bc the parts were prob going to be cleaned any how
