How to polish/soften sharp edges on SS bracelet?

So I've seen some threads about this, and most of the responses seem to involve using sandpaper or a nail file to take some of the sharpness off. That's fine, but I'm looking for more. On my TC V2 93250 bracelet, the edges of the links have a really nice rounded edge, with just a little bit of polished finish. I have a TC 93160 that isn't being used because the edges of the bracelet are not quite sharp, but they don't have that nicely finished, rounded feeling that the Sub bracelet does. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I recently ordered my first dremel (largely for this and similar purposes), it will be arriving today. I've also got a small table vise, an assortment of sandpapers, and a few other odds and ends. Can anyone give me some suggestions for refinishing the sides of bracelets or point me to a suitable thread addressing this question?

You can use sandpaper or you can use the dremel with polishing felt and polishing paste. It's gonna eat thru those edges really fast and reach all the corners better with smoother results. Then you can use a brush pad to restore the brushed finish.

Illustration of the difference I'm talking about. It's subtle, but it's hard for me to get past:

V3 93250 Sub Bracelet - good edges

TV 93160 sea dweller bracelet - mediocre edges

Where can I get some polishing paste for the dremel? Is there an attachment that can be used without any additional paste/compound?

For an edge like that polishing paste won't make it, you need pure skillz extract.

I have a TC bracelet, it came with poorly finished edges. Not nearly as nice as my TC 93250.
.

Well let me tell you what...

there is nothing better than a gen bracelet, you can get one for a decent price... they are not that expensive.

Its the way to go honestly. I never knew the difference until I slaped one on my 1680 and bam!!!! its like metal baby ass on your wrist.

If you really want to have that feel, don't waste time or resources modding a bracelet, no need for that because as smooth as you can get those edges... its not ever going to be per gen.

Wish you all the best!

i prefer to use the cutter blade to slowly remove the sharp corners ...the finish up with some bluffing ... but you need to have patience

Which TC bracelet was this with poor finish?

It's the TC 93160a sea dweller bracelet. I have another one on the way, I'll see if they're all like this or if maybe I just got a bad one the first time.
