The evolution 2

That´s very, very nicely done. Congrats on Your work. Those pics with the machinery in background are great:)
I will be happy if I get near that with the dial on my budget build in progress...

I have a black 26 mm YUKI dial & hands here......

I saw that some TD´s offering this watch ---> seems to be the right way to go for a vintage built....

.....and yes - you´re right - it´s impossible to say for what cases the 29 mm dials from rafflestime are useful....

Any chance you'll share your dial aging process? It looks fantastic

EDIT: I see you already did, but still interested in the time like the poster below :)

Hi, thanks for the tip:) Maybe You can add how long/how hot You did bake it and if hands and dial or hands only at the same time or one after another.
I already test-tried a mix of dark coffee/lume/acrylic white&ocre which looked good on paper but did not try it on the dial-markers yet.

You can grab a vintage pearl from Yuki watch.

For an old crown, I would check out jewelerstools on eBay. He usually has a wide selection of crowns for negotiable prices (do negotiate, I've knocked off up to $20 before).

Get a Atheya 702 crown and tube. It should screw right in the cartel case. You have to drill out the edge of the tube hole for it to sit flush but it's pretty easy to do. Then just some loctite and you're good to go.
