Few quick questions....what do you use to remove the old lume?
What ratio of lume powder to varnish do you recommend?
For the white base coat what did you use?

i used a solvent to soak the base plate to remove the old lume, then the mixture is..

60/40 for hands, 50/50 for dial (Lume, binder)

White paint is to make the mixture have a white tint, you don't have to do that for panerai watches, you can use c1 if you want it to be white..

What kind of solvent to remove the lume? Sorry for all the questions..

Thinner or turpentine

FARK, this is madness! This kind of work should be left to the surgeons. Lately, I tried to PVD one of my pams and I used matte black spray paint. Thats as pro as I get with watches.

Awesome read.

Just re-lumed my PAM217.

Waiting for it to be dry enough to build back up.

Then it's clicky, clicky time.
