@HerbertPeter SInce you refuse to communicate even in your own section and opt to Delete my post instead, which is reinstated. Maybe you will like it in here, the place where people love to dig.

Oh I love the reason you deleted it

What is going on here? :daffy:

in my case he charged 120€ on top on a watch I bought from him for a "service" he did on it (in his word "cleaned, oiled, regulated and waterproofed 5atm)

the result of the service was :

date changes sometimes 7 o´clock, 8 o´clock 11 o´clock and so on
power reserve was less then 2 hours
the movement was loosen in the case

after sending the watch to a trustworthy watchmaker here it came out that the watch was

NOT cleaned in any way
screws were lost or wrong screws were placed on the movement
parts of the movement were treated bad (scratches all over)
HerbertPeter did not solve a problem he obviously had with the date switch ( threads and youtube videos can prove this) but he was quite astound when I told him that there was an issue
and finally he made a promise about sending something to me which he did not.

I am really a person who has a big heart and a lot of patience but when it comes down that someone really thinks I am a dumbass I am loosing my decency

In my case I am "lucky" that I have a watch at least and it´s only about a "service" I paid for but get nothing but problems...I hope the guys who paid for a watch and obviously got none are getting their watch OR their money at least

@HerbertPeter : do the right thing as a guy from a region I really love and live at, too - solve the problems and set things straight! When you are really exhausted for whatever reason -ok...but do not scam people here and if you did a mistake just say like it is and no-one will talk about that later....

To be honest with the Tracking Number he supplied it is unlikely. It really looks like DHL were never given the package he just printed off a label from home. DHL are bad but not that bad. He also dragged his heels considerably in searching for it. I find it hard to believe he was up and down to the Post Office, while having an accident, while being in hospital, while browsing the forum and was not able to fill out an inquiry with DHL. I hope I am wrong here.

There was also no proof of insurance so bottom line is he owes you as he did not supply adequate proof that he sent you the watch. He will sit here until he makes that right.

His actions today, by giving me a "fuck you", deleting the thread I wrote and locking his own thread so no one could respond, speaks volumes about who we are dealing with.

DHL in Germany is very very very reliable...NEVER ever had any issues with them within Germany with ANY sendings I did with them. I send a lot of things besides watches with them and in almost every cases things are shipped within Germany on one day (if you send it before noon) or two days longest.

I can´t speak for european shippings in general but even there I had no - absolutely no - problems since then.

I am just trawling through all the posts he deleted @pippo did you have a problem back in January and was it resolved?

He just seemed to have deleted your posts at the time. I saw no responses.

His old disclaimer which he also deleted a while ago, just shows the attitude.

1. You have to pay via friend on PayPal
2. I'm not responsible to any loss due to shipping, ripped Packages, customs or any other issues. Once it left my hands it's not my business anymore.
3. I'm not shipping with tracking, if you ask I can do it, but if you don't ask I go for the cheapest option.
4. I don't have to proof I have sent the stuff out, most likely I'll send you the bill, If the bill gets lost or I forget it, I'm not responsible for that.
5. As I have said I'm doing this in my spare time, I'm not 24h here and I'm not a professional, I'm a student and I have not such a good system like Amazon.
6. I'm not gonna sell Binder, I tell you what you need, but that's such a pain to send the stuff out.
7. Speak friendly with me and I'm gonna be friendly with you.
8. I don't give any warranty to you.

If you don't agree with the things above, don't buy from me.

Why would anyone deal with a person like that?

As much as I like to be optimistic, I don't see that happening my friend. I'm in the same, or perhaps even worst, boat than you (I did not even get a tracking number) [emoji20]

I'm afraid to ask what were the watches he apparently has made off with? Those prices lead me towards some nice Franken pieces.
