I used the blue bottle that P4GTR shows in his original post... It says "extreme" on the label. It's blue...

Can't wait to try this on my rep bracelets. Question - if you wash them afterwards, doesn't that defeat the purpose of using the dry lube? Won't that wash away the Teflon coating? I would think just wiping off the excess and buffing it until no more residue comes off would be more effective at maintaining the silky smooth feel. I don't know, though, so that's why I am asking...

Try to find a happy medium. I don't want anyone leaving chemicals on their wrist. Washing the bracelet certainly does remove some of the wax, but still leaves an effective amount behind. Your mileage may vary!

I dont know how safe this is for your skin... isn't baby oil enough ;)

Safer than sex without a condom.

They are working on an organic/vegan/kosher version for you. Apparently, the CEO of my posts is an opportunistic hippie vegetarian Rabbi, also CEO of Rock n roll lube. Order 10 bottles, get free tofu pastrami on rye & knish.

Worst case? A little teflon gets in the bloodstream. Thank me later for not having bypass surgery. The fact that this revolutionary idea hasn't received an Excellence in Medicine Award is shameful.. But a measly RWI "great thread" or "excellent tutorial" award? Preposterous! (if I do say so myself.)

Listen. Don't get me started. I didn't say bang a tablespoon of this stuff into your forearm... I said clean your bracelet with it, then wash it off with soapy water.

Oil will not cake inside of metal parts, wax will.

I updated the links in the original post. Thanks Dan for sharing. I am ordering the 16oz bottle to use in my ultrasonic cleaner. I'll post and let you know how it worked.

Rock 'n Roll indeed does a great job, I always clean the bracelet using an ultrasonic cleaner before applying it and always a great result :)

The rattle on my is back again. I wonder if putting the bracelet in rock and roll overnight will last longer, anyone tried?

Do you take it off your wrist and shake it? I've been wearing rep and gen Rolex's for years and I've never heard one rattle while I was wearing it. And I've noticed no difference between the gen and rep bracelets either.
