I will not post where I got this watch right now since I'm new to the world of rep and maybe my circumstance doesn't
warrant that kind of reaction. I would appreciate some feed back on my situation.

So I order a pam088 from a website I won't be naming just yet. It advertises 1:1 replica, and that it is superb class with satisfaction and returns
guaranteed if something is wrong. on and on with shop with confidence all over their website. I paid $239 for the watch and $25 for shipping.

As anyone who knows pam088 knows this is a poor replica. Dial is all wrong. Date magnifier doesn't magnify at all, deployment buckle doesn't even deploy so I can't even wear it even if I wanted to. The font on some of the dates if you flicker through them are not uniform. The automatic sound is just horrifically wrong. It doesn't allow for changing to any other kind of band. You can't unscrew from the sides or have that push and release buttons on the back side. You're just stuck with the very fake looking faux leather strap they permanently affixed on the watch. These are some of the very obvious things I noticed that was wrong with the watch. I'm sure a discerning eye would find much more wrong with the watch. It somehow looks like a pam244 in a 44mm case and got the seconds circle all wrong. This in my opinion is a horrible horrible replica. If I'm wrong about this please correct me.

I contact the seller as soon as I get it and point out the obvious for a refund as promised on their website. We've been going back and forth about 15 times. He wants me to keep the watch and he'll give me a 30% on my next purchase. Like I would ever buy another watch from him. I told him to process my return and give me a return shipping address and he keeps coming back with a $25 dollars $45 Dollars and now up to $80 refund for me to just drop everything and stop bothering him. I've been steadfast in requesting a full refund under the circumstance that I pay for return shipment and insurance. To this he tells me there might be duties I need to pay and a bunch of non sense about how I might lose all my refund to taxes.

So this is the situation I am in. I've read some threads here for new comers FAQ and I'm pretty sure this guy is a scammer but how should I proceed with him? Should I call my CC company and do a charge back? What's the best way of going about this?

Hi and welcome to rwg. The good thing is that doesn´t happen with the quality reps available from the trusted dealers here. Either take the $80, accept the rest as a loss (could be worse) and move on. Shipping it back for some 30 to 70 on Your cost for it getting lost and ending up with nothing is no solution. Others might be of better help, maybe. This certainly Is not one of the TD of the forum, should it be ask for admin help before doing anything else.

Going back to a previous thread you started: This seems to be the seller - www.watches-wholesale.com (http://www.watches-wholesale.com/gmt-pam00088.html)

Did you notice that this is a picture of a gen. Any site that shows you this is full of Sh*t. But now you have found RWI so you know who to trust. Stick to our trusted dealers and you will not get hurt in the long run. If you purchased from a TD here then it is all fixable as the forum will have your back. In your situation, it seems you probably got screwed and you will have to put in a cc dispute.

Not for nothing though, we spoke in detail yesterday through PM and i directed you to the best place to buy the perfect model for this watch. A few well known members have attempted to point you in that direction already. You are saying that the PAM088 is bad rep and everyone knows this. That is far from the truth. It all depends on who you get the watch from and which model it is (i.e. from what maker)

Unless you can charge back your credit card you better just accept the $80 before he changes his mind and you get nothing.

I would def take the $80. Not sure how well the cc charge back would work. Their Return Policy gives them alot of loop holes to screw you. "Our Customer Service representatives determine eligibility for refunds and exchanges once customers have contacted us and explained their reason for return."

Take the 80 bucks and look at it as a learning experience.

Ouch - saw the picture. U got a crap deal. I agree with what the guys are saying above. Take the 80 bucks, and chalk it up to a learning lesson. You never know if the cc dispute will work.

Hi mate, sorry to hear your problems. If it was me, i would take the $80 refund and put the whole thing down to experience. At the end of the day you (just like the rest of us) knowingly tried to import illegal goods from criminals abroad. You win some and you will inevitable loose some. Stick to the TD's on here and you'll be fine.

By the way, right now he's just running out the clock with offers and counter offers until it's too late to make a charge back. My guess is you'll not see the $80.

Aye you probably won't get the 80 bucks mate, chalk this one up to a bad deal and move on to the TD's on here.

just out of curiosity what is the time frame for a charge back? i was planning on telling my cc company that it was never authorized. Disputing quality of rep to a cc customer service agent seems futile. on my statement it shows as a manual entry, those are easier to charge back on as fraudulent charges
