I've seen worse Seawolves in the past with roughly similar pricing. This one has the improvements. Appreciate what you have.

True, but does it make it right? Granted it is ultimately his fault for "accepting" qc pics. But we all know that regardless of not being amazon there should be a transparent "this is not what I would buy... so why do I try to sell it?" train of thought. Having QC pics is great and awesome, but it leaves more pressure on any buyer because once they fail to see a mistake, it's on them and not the td...

It's certainly a catch 22, because the tds are going above and beyond with this qc service. It's not a bad flaw yes, but I can see buyer's point of view as well. It's situations like these that make me wish we had a qc sub fora to help noobs out. But we all know that opens a Pandora's box that will eventually make tds stop the qc service.

Good luck OP I feel your ocd pain

If people should appreciate what they have because there are improvements on a watch, then people shouldn't be modding their watches.

This just goes to show how different some people are-here its not satisfactory, the other thread concerning the slightly poor lum dots at 2&3 are considered not a big deal. They both seem petty and huge at the same time and from 3' away "meh", but it'll eat away at ya if you care enough.
For me=that's a lot of $$$ to not have at least what you always see as not right.

Could be because lume is much easier to fix.

Come to think of it, is the 8 written in ink?
Grab a fine tip sharpie and test your luck :p

Holy crap. Worst. Idea. Ever. :lolcina:

I know you're joking, but I actually tried this on a dial with a needle and white paint to fix the "N" in PANERAI on a dial. It worked surprisingly well. My mistake was using two Post-It notes to mask the rest of PANERAI on the dial, and the rest of the paint came off completely with the glue on the Post-It. I was left with nothing but a freshly painted perfect white line.

Ouch, painful lesson! I've learned to live with small issues, as whenever i try to "fix" those somehow i end up with something that gets majorly jacked and ultimately thrown out...

It's clearly not a small issue for you, the OP, because you've felt driven to start this thread about it. I too feel your pain, and as I've said before, what I suffer from is even worse than OCD.

It's called CDO, and it's like OCD, except the letters are in the right order, the way they should be.

Yeah, I have definitely lost faith in the dealer. I went through 2 other seawolf qc pics they sent me because the first one was on a rubber strap as opposed to a bracelet which I had ordered it as and on the second the 6 o'clock marker was crooked. This was the third one they sourced for me I finally gave them the ok on. Also I bought another piece from them which the crown is messed up on and the hands are misaligned, both which I couldn't tell from the QC pics. I've sent an email to them to see what they propose, but definitely a TD I won't be going back to given all of the issues I've encountered...

I'd rather not call them out just yet, let me see how they handle this and I'll take it from there. I do have to say they are however super responsive and I don't see them letting me down, it's just a pain to go through all this...but then again that's what I get for not buying gen!!

But "you" approved the QC pics. What do they need to do? What am I missing?

If the QC pics show it, then you need to own it.

I agree. As much as the disappointment must be there, the fact that you are the one who missed it, you shouln't blame the TD.
