My entry is none other… than a patek phillipe sky moon tourbillon! Advertised on gumtree (before i know about this fantastic site to find good reps) for the princely sum of £2000! I said you know its not real, of course it is he said! Ill give you £50 i said… After telling him its worth about £1m if it is real, he went to a watch shop, gave up on retiring and sold me it for £50. It was money down the drain but its a fun story. Good luck removing the crown on a watch with a mechanical movement on one side and a quartz moon looking thingy on the other, the chinese did not build this with serviceability in mind! And yes, one of the subdial hands is floating about freely. So no, I wouldn’t wear it in public!
