How do you remove links from a J12?

my guide to resizing this watch, its actually pretty easy. just gotta make sure your pin pusher fits inside the hole of the open ended pin.

I just did my wifes J12 the other day. Had to be the easiest bracelet size to date. Took be 2 minutes to do 2 links.

Seriously?! I'm a complete noob and I resized a PO and J12 with a little hammer and "pointy thing" that came in a 4 quid Amazon toolkit. Wife very happy with the purchase btw. Almost got sone action and it's not the 3rd Saturday of the month. ?

I had a disasterous time trying to do my wife's J12. I finally gave up. Some watches must be easier than others. I have a pin pusher and it did nothing.

Bit rushed this morning, but here's a couple of pics of my set up. Note I chose the smallest diameter pin remover that fits inside the outer collar. Then give it some taps with the wee hammer (shown). This can only be done from one side. I uploaded this pic in larger format if you need to zoom.
To refit, simply put the pin back in, put in the collar from the other side and push together. You can clearly see that the pin is in 2 parts on my last pic. This requires a bit of force and 2 flat objects (a protected table edge and the flat of a knife worked for me).
All tools were from a cheapie Amazon kit - nothing fancy.
