How do you correctly pronunce "Panerai"?

Maybe it also contingent on WHICH part of Italia the speaker comes from (though the pron. should likely be Northern, ie Toscana].

My wife is German and she's often saying how different Swabian is from Saxon or Swiss Deutsch - no diff in Italia!

Another factoid relating to Panerai. Firenze, the town in Italy where it all started is pronounced Fee-rrren-za.

Firenze, for those that have no clue which city this is in Italy, is also known to many in the Western hemisphere as Florence.


I lived in Firenze for a while and at the Panerai store they pronounced Officine Panerai like this:

"off-ah-cheen-neh paa-na-rye"
