I reported it to eBay and emailed the seller giving him a heads up. EBay now hides winning bidders due to all kinds of scams that were going on so it is near impossibe to contact one and given them a heads up... but then many would do that to wreck a sale too back in the day.
I think that what rsh meant, is that the watch is a rep, you can clearly see the laser etched crown at 6 o'clock and there is no AR on the cyclops.
Am i right?

Sooner or later if you are not careful...and sometimes even if you are careful…
Mistake number one: just because you have seen "a" Rolex or even several or many Rolexes doesn’t mean you have seen them all. Seriously, what watch dealer frequents the AD to see all the latest new watches and changes?
Mistake number two: cockiness - assuming you know how to spot a fake. Experience has the odd effect of actually training people to be dumber, not smarter. The minute you think you know something you are blind to anything that doesn’t match the belief in what you "know" leaving you vulnerable to the unexpected and unknown. (Not that we all don’t suffer from that to one degree or another)
I doubt someone with that much feedback is a scammer, although you never know. I feel for the guy if he was taken.
... this was my hope / thinking too, seems like with that feedback he'd have a lot to lose trying to pull a scam! You're probably also right about being cocky, every time you see an "expert" talk about spotting a fake Rolex they mention the most laughable stuff.
Why doesn't he just pop the back. The movement is the best indicator IMHO.
Did you get a reply? Because I did, just now, from the seller:
"hi, i have bought alot of rolex and have never been taken yet. is it the first time? this one looks really good. i just opened the back and not sure now? what gives it away? thanks"
... not sure if he's sincere, but good sign as least that it might not be too late for the buyer. Guys, I want to pass along as much info as possible, so please summarize what should be said! Obviously he knows little about Rolex, if he can't tell even after opening the case back.
ps- my message to him read "I'm sure that you have already been contacted, but please do not accept payment for this Submariner. It is not authentic. I make no judgements, and perhaps you were not aware it was not genuine Rolex, but don't let the buyer find out the hard way later."
