I have this game going on in one of my motorcycle forums where you post a picture of your motorcycle next to the object requested by the previous poster. I figure we can adapt it to watches. Since we are part time photogeeks ourselves, what better way to capture both our hobbies.
So for example, I would request that the next poster posts his watch next to a bottle of fine cognac. So the picture would be you with your watch on your wrist next to the bottle of cognac. So the picture poster would then have the turn to ask the next challenge. He could ask, post your watch next to a bridge. So the next poster will whip out his wrist and take a picture of it next to a bridge. The challenge must be attainable by the average person, so no challenges of your watch atop Mt. Everest.
The challenge can be as mundane as a bottle of cognac, or as interesting as a bridge, or as provacative as in front of or even inside an AD. It can show off your neck of the woods to everyone, and at the same time can be as typical as a day in the office. BUT it would not be a looney bin type challenge, such as on a naked woman or carressing some boobies. (Some people may get all the challenges, while others may not get any at all). Lets keep this SAFE for work and out of the Looney bin side.
We can assign points to each challenge winner or just play for fun. If we decide to play for points, then there must be a referee and a points keeper.
If the challenge is not met within a certain period of time, say 36 hours from the time of posted challenge, then the previous poster gets another crack at posting a new challenge.
In my motorcylce forum we had a photo tag game that is on its third year with well over 1000 tags, but that was very much location sensitive, as you actually had to ride out to that very spot and take a pic of your bike in the exact same position and location. This one is not location sensitive and can be played internationally.
All this makes sense???
