I don't see any red names because I use Tapatalk. Every name is same color. I don't know if I deserve being called a "clown" either to be honest. I apologised privately and in public in the most polite way.
Yet, the issue remains. It's written everywhere you don't post a public complain before working it out with the staff and the vendor involved. You've been here for a while too.
things go wrong in this hobby, even for the most competent watchsmith. You're buying Chinese technology you know. What makes a difference and what is demanded by the forum etiquette is for a modder or watchsmith or any other kind of dealer to offer a fair solution, where fair is fair for everyone.
How do we know you did exactly what you said? How do we know caseback and screws untightened during transport? You see there are a lot of things that can happen and when you choose to play with reps you must accept the risks involved.

I agree with most of what you wrote. I know I buy Chinese technology and guess what I never had a problem with Chinese technology until now.
Caseback can't been loosen during transportation. If caseback is tight, it remains tight. In my case the caseback was finger tight. I don't have any tools home and as I wrote I used my two fingers to remove it. I have no way to prove it of course. But if you think of it, why would I put soda in my 671 and blame somebody for no reason? I can name modders here including the most famous ones that have worked on my watches and I have always been more than happy. My email inbox is full of such cases.

I do agree here with you that it should have been resolved by a second round trip to the modder for a checkup....free of charge...
that being said things do happen in transit , maybe not a caseback loosening it but the third screw (which is fake) indeed does fall off very easily.
also for water testing, ask for proof if possible since its not something you can see aesthetically.. usually a picture of the watch submerged and pressurized will do...

How can you not know who the core admin team are?
He is on the one hand claiming to be a longstandinf member of the community who has expectations about the community (modders) but on the other hand isn't close enough to the community to know that clicking "contact us" on the homepage or posting something like this on the "scams" section of the forum is not the way to go about this.

I am here to read and learn about watches and that's what I have been doing for the last 8 years. I have bought, sold and support financially the community.
Didn't need to contact any mod or admin before

Secondly I think no matter what, shit happens and all that goes with it, the modder should have taken it back with no additional burden on OP. IMHO.

Your first question is replied in my last post, we just posted at the same time
The modder was clear TWICE that will NOT pay for any shipping costs and that will just REPLACE THE GASKET AND RETIGHT THE CASEBACK. I have screenshots of all of these.
That means he would leave the soda in my 400usd 7750 and 400 USD watch plus he would leave the rotor with a missing screw.
Additionally he didn't say the words SORRY or APOLOGY once.
His casual work was all my fault!!!!!!!!
WOULD YOU SENT THE WATCH BACK TO HIM???
And I open a case here for the first time in 8 years, asking politely TWICE to be removed if not appropriate, apologising in public and privately for everything, and I am still called a head honcho and clown.
