Well not me! Hont knew he didn't have the watch I ordered and they sent me some other watch anyway. Are you going to pay me the few hundred I don't have anymore?

I don't think you are listening really?? your money is safe with hont. simple as that- he sent you the wrong item, and will admit so, he is a stand up guy.

if you spend more time reading here, you will know that hont has been a solid dealer here through the "cartel issues" and standing up for the members access to affordable reps. really decent guy is all we ever hear.

sure sometimes some poor guy like you end up with a nice pair of rep sony earphones, when he actually ordered a rolex submariner lv ...if you ask me, as long as the dealer offers to make things right, then that is all we need to expect in this game, the dealers here are on such a high level compared to the dealers you would find outside the rep forums- still people make mistakes, possibly more frequently during a holiday like x-mas.

you'll be ok, if I suspected anything other than that, I'd be right behind you, as would all the buddies here- that seems to be the point you are misssing

it's possible, that sometimes the guys working for our trusted dealers, seem to get some kindda quick solution to a problem, such as not having the ordered item in stock, and simply solve it by sending what the employee seems to be quite similar. this is extreemely seldom, and though not satisfying to a customor with high expectations, it is still something we have to look at with a smile and realize that the guy who wrapped up the wrong watch for you literally thought he was doing you a favor, by not telling you he couldn't get it for you!

we, as watch collectors are very focused on details in these watches, and we more or less have to understand that a guy in guagzhu doesn't have the same understanding of "when does a rep look close enough" - we are comunicating with people with different languages and different cultures than the most of us, infact even amung ourselves there is a lot of misunderstandings as the result of being a international community.

though I understand your disappointment, I ask you to understand the difference on being a vendor who made a mistake, but will make it good again, and then a actual scammer and untrustworthy person.

hont is not a untrustworthy person - your money is still safe, you woint loose anything besides the time lost here.

I think your first thread and first title was too harsh, but hope you will find this place still helpfull and protective.

if you at some point in the future will realize that what happened here was just a unfortunate thing, then you might quietly pm a mod or admin, and kindly ask if they would change the title for you, maybe to a less agressive one of the kind, up to you, but I think that would be fair play.
we're talking about a business reputation over a single mistake here. think about that, and have a nice x-mas (hope you'll find something else for the lady)

Getting ripped off is sending money and getting nothing in return.
What you had is a business transaction that has to be fixed.
Could you post some pics of what you recieved, it could be better than what you wanted.
My advice is that you contact Hont.

Hont is one of the best dealers here imho and if you go about it without being a hothead he will sort things out for you.

First of all, I seriously doubt you've even ordered a watch. I've never seen anyone find this forum and order from a trusted dealer without even asking a question. This leads me to believe that you sir are not only a liar, but a moron as well.

In case you did actually order the watch, Hont did you a favor by sending the wrong one and saving you from having your ass handed to you by the next WIS you crossed paths with (No, that's not similar to crossing swords; an act I'm sure you're all too familiar with).

Hont will send pics if you ask him to do so, but doesn't do so automatically, at least in my experience. I have never asked for pics from him and don't regret doing so.
