Wow! Dont forget to post pics! I am very keen to see the 250....as that is exactly what I have ordered!
If he gave you pre-shipment pics...was it the Tachymeter or Tachymetre bezel ?

I have to admit, it seems that Hont has been very slow with his email responses recently and they are frequently just a few words. It seems to me that responding quickly to emails is probably the single most important thing for a dealer when it comes to building and maintaining a good reputation. When threads like this start showing up it is not good PR for a dealer. I understand that he is probably very busy and that he gets a lot of email from "tire kickers" but I honestly believe that being slow to respond to emails will cost a dealer sales. Maybe Hont is just at that point where he needs to think about hiring someone to do some of the scut work like running to the post office or packaging or ?
I've purchased 7 new reps in the past 2 months from Hont, but I orginally emailed a different "trusted dealer" who took several days to respond and then responded with a very unfriendly email. That dealer has no idea, but he lost all 7 of those sales to Hont.

First, english is not his native language, not sure what kind of "response" you are looking for or converstion...second, he is probably busy as usual.

Last, he sent me photos for the second time of a watch he is supposed to ship possibly today/this week...so he is around and answering....keep plugging away..he is like that.

For the record, I'm not criticising Hont or his methods, I just wanted to know what he was doing...my OP was typed with "tongue in cheek". (sarcasm, to those not familiar with this term)

I think we all know that Hont isn't a native English speaker! LOL Christ, I was the one who helped him write up the Order Info on his website the first time round! I don't expect to be discussing the rise in unemployment in Western Europe with him, but I do get a decent "conversation" from him from time to time. ;)

I respect the guy for what he manages to do: for us. Giving us the best prices and living up to his reputation for looking after customers.

Contrary to some peoples' beliefs he is not a one man band though. He has people close to him that do the "running". I guess they must be REALLY busy for his emails to be so slow/short. Although its not the "tire kickers" that are getting the slow/short answers, it's the actual paying customers.

Maybe he needs a trusted person to manage his emails...but that would mean another wage to pay...which would lead to an increase in watch prices...which would lead to us trying another dealer!!

LOL

Patience....>I keep telling myself<....patience.....

I got an e-mail from him yesterday with EMS tracking on a Hublot. He's always 12-48 hours on response. He's as responsive as any dealer. The are holidays in China that we all should be aware of. He doesn't hang around during holidays, seeing as how he is Chinese, but otherwise he's on the spot.
