He refunded me,
Appreciate the help of you guys.
I'm not sure why you think you are communicating with a scammer, the website is correct as per the information in his section.I am new here as well. Am in the process of ordering from Ryan at Intime.
He said through email that I could order from his site as he has the watch I want in stock. The first thing it had me do was create an account, which also asked me for my birth date.
The website is https://www.intime06.co/ and the email I am communicating with is [email protected]
I got both the website and the email address directly from these forums. I thought I was doing everything right, but after reading this thread it seems maybe I am actually communicating with a scammer?
I have the watch in my cart but have not completed the order process or sent any funds.
Any of you more seasoned members willing to offer me some guidance here?
Yes, if you both fell in love and want to get married.
Otherwise, it's extremely odd. I believe you may be in touch with a scammer who's also trying to steal your identity... Along with your money.
What are the contact details you used?
E-Mail? Web site URL? Phone numbers?
Where did acquire them? Here on RWI? Or via Google?
You might be dealing with a scammer posing as Hont.
Do share where you found them and how you contacted them. Do not share any more information with them.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES supply your DoB, that is not acceptable and words will be had.
You said it, to create an account, like any other site would do the same. But I was asked to create an account to order through his website and one of the required fields to create said account is date of birth. (this step is required to proceed to checkout)
The OP was being asked DOB for payment refund, not a creation of an account. The mere mention by OP of being asked a DOB seemed to spook a bunch of senior members here, and since I was also asked to provide my DOB I am here asking for help. That's all.
You do realise you don't have to provide your actual DoB, yes? Like a lot of folks, I have two DoB, my real one and one I use on webforms of places that don't really need it but ask for it anyway. The mere mention by OP of being asked a DOB seemed to spook a bunch of senior members here, and since I was also asked to provide my DOB I am here asking for help. That's all.
Should I simply provide a fake DOB?

While the tone might sound as, idk, belittling or something, it isn't. I certainly are not bothered by a member trying to ensure their safety. We actually see so many that go the other way. They do things and then come back to us after they mess up. Kudos from me.This site preaches doing your research and being extremely careful not to get scammed. Maybe I'm overdoing it a little bit. Sorry to have bothered you all.
