Someone asked RWG members to post their Ti collection and I would like to share with you the story on my Ti watch obsession:

I have quite a few of them. My first Ti rep is Breitling Chrono Avenger (this is not my first one... The first one comes with black dial but I don't have the picture of it):

I still have both of them.

Then bought myself a PAM036 from Kelster:

I sold this one and bought another one back.... The new one comes with bad dial, regretted it and I guess it needs replacement soon.

The next Ti is IWC GST Ti Chrono:

I still have it till today.

My Ti love doesn't end there and bought myself a Seawolf Ti (still have it):

Another rare oxidised Ti:

Then there is quite a long vacuum, the next Ti rep is another Panerai (089, with missing tick mark at 9):
(no picture), still have it too

My first gen Ti watch, PD by IWC Moonphase chrono:

Sold it at very low price but what's the point of having a watch that you don't wear.

At this point of time, I am a bit crazy with IWC watches... Got myself another Ti Ingenieur AMG Chrono:

Movement is dead... I will try to revive it again with graphite solution... Genuine dial and hands ready for transplant.

I think Ti is my love. Got myself a genuine Omega SMP Ti with electric blue dial. I was torn between this piece or America's Cup:

==== Moving to Germany, got myself my first Ti watch there:
DSCN1335.jpg

Sold it to Laz later on... I really really really like this watch but too bad size puts me off. If it's 44mm, I will keep it surely.

My next genuine Ti watch, got it while I was in Germany:

Still have it and it's a keeper for me ;)

Well... I think that's all if I remember all watches correctly. Most Ti watches stay with me.

Nice collection of Ti. i have a few but they seem to come and go just like the rest of the collection. I have never had a Ti Rep, are they real Ti? Are they just as light as the real thing?

Although I'm not really a titanium fan, I must say I like TI on the PAM very much :D
I wish they did the OCC in real TI, as the rep is definitely heavy and not well balanced...

Taka has it all,

even Lother Schmidt ( owner of SINN, Germany ) makes time to meet Taka to offer him a rare - not even on the market Sinn watch -

when Taka showed up in the largest watch trade show in Basel, switzerland - thousands were applauding....standing ovations.

love it, Taka !

( hope you understand my humor....now that you have lived in the fatherland for a while ! )

LOL :)

Many complains that Ti looks like plastic and too light. I would say it's one of the best material for a watch. Light, durable, non allergic and create a nuance of understatement.

I'm one that thinks Ti is too light, doesn't stop me from buying them... They just usually get sold quicker then the rest.

That's true! It's soooo rare to see a rep watch in Titanium (even so on the gen world).

Definitely SS is going to be material of choice for most watches that we see on the market.

Whats the durability of these titanium reps? Expecially the Breitling Chrono Avenger Ti.

Will the titanium bracelet/clasp not scratch as easily? Im sick of my SS clasp showing scratch marks every time I wear it.

Can I scotch brite these titanium bracelets?

I love your dedication to the titanium reps... if you don't mind, since it would seem that you have tried many.... could you provide us with a list of your top 5 Ti reps? I would like to try out a titanium rep, but I don't wanna skimp on quality just to get the titanium material.... Which reps do you think are WELL done, in titanium?

Here's my top 5 reps in Titanium:
Discontinued Avenger series.
IWC GST Chrono Ti
Corum Admiral's Cup Ti 48
Any PAM in Titanium (I shall recommend 082 rep from davidsen in particular)
IWC Ingenieur Ti (movement is a bit finicky, perhaps go for non chrono AMG).

@guanaco: the movement is dead, I am sourcing for graphite powder.
