In the M2M- it seems like most are in the EU/UK.

It makes me walk funny thinking how much money I would be dropping if all of these lovely watches I see on the M2M were readily available in America..

Not really, most dealers are based in China or South East Asia. So basically, the shipping time/risk is the same for everyone across the globe. Then there's a couple of dealers who keep EU stock, can look them up in the td or supported vendor sections.
Afaik there used to be one us based td, but that's history now...
