Greetings everybody from RWI. I am P and I am getting familiar with the posts of my interest here on a daily basis. I registered couple of weeks ago and I am taking a pleasant time reading all that info from you, which is invaluable and will help me decide on my first reproduction. I was vintage Japanese collector in my previous life and chose to hunt some fairly seldom seen pieces and navigate trough rabbit holes and that helped me chanell some adhd energy. Than I had personal happenings (non related to the hobby) and decided to donate my collection. I left me one chrono, that I think embodies me as a watch lover. After 2 y now I would like something more take it easy mood. I will keep reading and will give myself time for any happy thought to settle, before pulling the trigger. I am very harsh on myself and I cant really foresee how I would feel wearing a rep, but I will gladly do It just so I can watch myself doing it/unboxing it)
Rep watches/forum treads in my head right now are:
- watching for any new Pam quarantas and overal thickness debate
- Breguet Marine 5817 silver dial (cant decide if 50 mm lug to lug will look ok on my 18 cm bony wrist and availability
- daring to ask someone from the Modders to think about doing custom PAM 790/791 Art Deco omg love
- loving the ultra thin VC Overseas 2000, but not sure if someone calls me out on a 120k watch - I have humble lifestile, but love the auesthetics.
- Breguet Tradition (reading now)
- Maybe some vintage Rolex, like Zenith Daytona or 1019 Expl.
My dream Gen in this exact moment:
- Omega Seamaster CK 859
- UN Freak X Black carbon
- some vintage PVD Monaco
