Hey mates how y'all going?!

I come from a land down under, Adelaide to be precise. I have been interested in gen and rep watches for a very long time now.

Been directed here from ChinaTime discord, via their repsguide website. I have been lurking around these forums for as long as I was a member of that discord channel (about 3-4 years).

My first ever reps were from Bangkok patpong nightmarket/MBK shopping centre a couple of decades ago , I still remember those cheap AF Rolex subs, PAM Luminor Marinas, and Omega Seamasters. They were all literally US$50 or below each. All thrown away because they broke or rusted.

I am also into Seiko Mods and have made over a dozen from parts bought on Aliexpress. Except for one, the rest were given away as gifts to family and friends.

I had a gen Rolex Datejust 36 bought around 2003 and sold a few years later. The only other gen was a Tag Heuer aquaracer I bought preowned from a cashies (cash convertor - like a pawn shop but not exactly), I sold that a few years later as well.

Otherwise I have casios, seikos, citizens and apple watches.

I have taken the plunge and joined this forum because the waifu had said NO to buying a Gen Rolex and Omega AT. Yes happy waifu happy laifu.

Hope to somehow contribute to this forum!
