Hello everyone! I'm new to this hobby and forum. I would like to find an excellent replica Omega, Rolex and/or A Lange & Sohne. Would be extremely grateful for any advice on the best way to go about this from France specifically. Many thanks!

Welcome, do a lot of reading, check the brand-specific sub forums and then ask if you can't find an answer to a question. 99% of the info you need to know is listed either in the welcome post you read or the links within it.

Thanks so much for your response. I think I understand most of the issues now. The only thing I'm still unsure about is the practicalities of imports specifically to France in terms of legality, postal address issues, and not losing the goods. The replicas I am considering are of course just for personal use.

Hi and welcome to RWI!
The sticky threads contain a lot of information that is very useful making your first steps in RWI and the rep world in general, including a couple of guides on how to go about your first purchase:
And a lot more. A general thread which contains a lot of info and links is this:
In relation to your concerns, let the TD handle the shipping, that's their business and they know what to do to make the watch arrive in your hands. Still, there's some risk involved and you should be conscious of that. What I can advise is to browse the TD's websites (only use RWI's links to do so, never google them) and look after their shipping and reimbursement policies, some will send you a new watch if it's seized by customs, some don't. And, contact the TD before making an order to ask for availability, that's also a good way to get a feel for them and decide if it suits you.
Remember to be patient during the whole process. Responsiveness is not TD's forte, at least not everyone's.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask @eBoy or me, we'll be happy to assist.
Good luck!
