Thought I would say hi after skulking about in the dark recesses of the forum trying to absorb what seems to be an inordinate amount of information going back years and years. Who knew all this existed? Clearly not me. I knew the industry existed as I've seen fake watches being sold in streets in Asia or on beaches across Europe when on vacation but most of them all looked dreadful and often lasted about as long as your vacation. However, it seems that there is a huge different between a fake and a Rep, and I'm thrilled about that to be honest.
Ive been taking in as much info as I can and I am loving the research and the discovery that the forums provide.
I've always loved watches and I have a few Gens in my very small collection, but I am looking to bolster that with some Reps. My grandfather was a watchmaker and I remember as a small kid watching him work on watches in his home workshop and just being fascinated by the intricacy of it all.
So, I'm looking forward to the start of a new hobby which I think is likely going to be pretty addictive.
I think I'm going to need a bigger watch winder case.
