Such a beautiful watch. Wish I could stand the flaws but it would only annoy me. Guess I'll have to wait for v2 or go gen

Mine turned up today.... I love it (but I love Tudors and this is my 6th one) I've taken a couple of pics.... Now before you lot that are too anal about the micro differences start debating... I just want to say that I don't give a damn ;-) I'm not worried about the tiny differences. I frickin love these!

These photos are taken with my phone so it's difficult to get the colours to replicate in digital.... In real life this thing is beautiful.

And here a lume shot that looks like the lume is all the same colour.....

And another lume shot to confirm that this is blue on the dial and green on the indices...

And one more to show the datewheel (is the roulette date wheel of course) evens red and odds black.

Oh yeah this is the one from trusty (Andrew).

Don't fret folks buy this puppy and enjoy wearing it.

@Nikoteen great pics! It looks really good man. Still too bad about the lume considering the regular blue and black ones are almost perfect but I'm sure the will update that in the next version. Thanks for sharing!

is the lume supposed to be two different colors? or is it just them using the same insert as on the regular pelagos and thats why the colors are different?

It's definitely not supposed to be different colors. It's all supposed to be blue.

how could they mess it up?? the insert of the reg pelagos is blue why did they make this one lime green? oh well i really wanted to pick this up but a relume of insert is impossible and dont know if i can live with this flaw as i really love looking at lume.

DId any one opened a LHD (or a five liner dial one)? I'm very curious to see if there's a printed DW or if there's a DWO on top.

Comparing the 2 dials (old and new, which is the same as the LHD) it seems nearly impossible to have a directly printed dial on them:

Asking as I'm waiting for a ZF from Watchoutlet and I've noticed some of the numbers are quote offset so I'd like to fix it while I'll service it :)

Hi, I am very new, go easy.
I am planning to get an LHD as my first rep (apart from a dodgy sea master picked up in Hong Kong years ago) and reading through this thread it seems the V6F is the closest to gen. Would you agree?

Also, does anyone know if any further versions are expected?

Thanks

Both the new and old LHDs get the dial print color wrong. On the gen LHD, the words "TUDOR" and "GENEVE" as well as the small print above 6 o'clock (other than the correct red word "PELAGOS") should be in the same off-yellow that defines the hands, hour markers, and bezel print. Unfortunately, in both version of the reps, these words (again, with the exception of the correct red "PELAGOS") appear in stark white like the regular non-LHD Pelagos. Hopefully a third version will appear that finally gets it right, and then I'll be first in line to pull the trigger.

I don't see wrong color side by side with Gen maybe wrong Font

@Repworld, well you're consistent anyway. All of your posts defend the status quo where no watches ever deserve concern or improvement. Your four latest examples from just this morning follow (but your whole history looks like this):

1) In a thread about the VC Overseas (link), concerns about the date wheel are discussed. Several of your answers look like this: "What's wrong with JJF DW very close To Gen" and "How not close can u explain More?"

2) In a thread about a new movement used in one of the Patek reps (link), your contribution is "I think no problem with this movement" without addressing the OP's concern regarding whether existing modders will be prepared to handle the new movement just yet. Maybe a modder/watchmaker would have been better placed to offer a substantive answer.

3) In this thread, the gen dial font color is simply different, and the sooner the factories make that correction, the sooner they'll have buyers falling over themselves for the latest super-rep. But your feedback discourages the discussion.

4) In a thread this morning about how the Nautilus might be improved (link), you quickly joined in to let the member know it was "in his mind" since he didn't have a gen in hand for comparison.

I could post more examples like these, but this morning's four is enough.
