Hi All

I recently picked up a Clean Factory GMT Pepsi. Fabulous watch, no complaints at all. However I noticed the bezel triangle does not click exactly center. One click to the left its at 57 minute, one click to the right it's at 1 minute. I can finely tune it, but I feel like it will flop back eventually.

I tried popping off the bezel and rotating it and putting it back on, but pretty much getting the same result. Can anybody advise on a way to fix this so my triangle on the bezel is centered at "0" (12 ocock)

My only other thought is that I have to actually remove the ceramic insert from the bezel, but that might be above my pay grade and hoping there is an easier fix.

Thank you in advance!

No easier fix bro. You need to remove the insert, realign it and re-adhere it. There are some tips in the linked thread below for doing this. Steps are the same for GMT and Sub. I use 3M double stick tape rings from Ebay.

6-digit Sub crystal and bezel swap

Thank you very much... I will see how it works out if I do not have to keep micro-adjusting it. If I do, I will look into this, as it does seem totally impossible to do. I am sure it just takes some time and patience, as you definitely do not want to crack that beautiful insert.

The insert is adhered in place with some sticky tape that can also be softened up by soaking the bezel in warm soap water, or by applying heat from a hair dryer.

This type of insert install to the bezel is far easier to both remove and replace than one that is press fit, and there is far less risk of cracking it. It's not uncommon to get a misaligned insert and it's such an eye catching flaw. But it's a very easy fix, just take it slow and use gentle pressure on removal. Piece of cake!

Thanks as always. And you still use the hypo cement to put the insert back in? I have seen other members use some sort of tape that is the size of the insert, but of course I trust your opinion.

You can use either. I typically use the 3M tape rings. Pay attention to final height, sometimes you need two layers, sometimes 1 layer is too thick so liquid glue is called for.

Thank you. The 3M tape rings was what I was talking about. I will google where I can find those, or if you can advise that would be amazing.
