Hi All -
I recently received my new Trusty Submariner with ETA movement and it's having some difficulties... I'm hoping it is something that can be repaired fairly easily...

The watch, when placed on a winder will keep the second have moving, but the minute hand stops (I'm assuming the hour hand does not move because the minute hand is not moving, but it doesn't change hours)... if I set the watch to a new time, it will work as it should for a bit and then the minute hand will stop again...

The minute hand appears to stop when the hour hand is at 1 or 2 o'clock... although this may just be coincidence...

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Having the watch just sit there is very frustrating!

Thanks!

If I have to send it back it's going to be a bummer... I was hoping for a quick fix... but Andrew is awesome, so maybe he can help me out...

Oh come on Klink... you know how it is... I've got a bright, shiny new Rolex rep... it made it's way all the way here from China... it was able to sneak through customs and our postal service... I want to give the little guy a chance before sending him home...

LOL..... funny because we all understand what you mean. A broken watch in the hand is...well... a broken watch in the hand. :D Hopefully its just a matter of needing the hands seated.

You better watch out for the Andrew character..... he's been known to fix watches that he doesn't even sell.  Class act!

Hi all -
Just wanted to update... Andrew has sent me a replacement that looks and functions beautifully... this is why he is one of, if not the best...

How many other dealers would have sent a direct replacement within 24 hours of being notified of a problem???
