Ok, I'm looking for a respectable dress watch from one of our esteemed trusted dealers with all of the following specs:

-Price under $150
-No complications, no date (seconds at six is fine)
-White face, no "diamonds" anywhere
-39mm diam x 9mm thick or less
-Leather strap
-Hand-wind movement (no quartz, no automatic)
-Decent rep of a real (non-fantasy) watch
-One of the following brands: Cartier, Piaget, Breguet, Patek, Jaeger LeCoultre, MontBlanc, Movado, Vacheron Constantine

Can it be done???

You mean nothing came up in the other dress watch threads you have started?

Sadly no (and it was just one other dress watch thread I started), folks were either pointing me to quartz, or 40mm+, or ones with dates, or fantasies. Some were close but none was on, so I thought I'd write something listing exactly what I want. I may have found two though, but if anybody has anything they found that fits the above description I'd love for them to link it.

thx

I thought you were looking in the 300$ range. That's why I pointed you to a used watch of the movado you linked yourself in the first post of your other thread. They can be had for around 450$ and then it's a Gen!

Only the quartz Movados can be had for that price.

With a list of demands like that, you'd be best off going for a gen.

If you're dead set on a rep, look at Patek and Lange though most will be fantasy models.

so you rather have an a21j then a swiss quartz? i am honestly not getting what you want us to do... you are being so picky that it's doubtful anybody is gonna give you the answer you want.

you are looking for a dressy rep watch that is less than $150, not a fantasy, no date??, 39mm and limited to x, y, z brands... seriously? unfortunately you are looking at a very unpopular watch and you will never find it unless you open your mind... sorry!

+1

You can't just throw out a list of demands (and an unreasonable set at that) and expect the community to find something for you.

Use the search button, browse dealer forums and the like. When you've selected something you like, come back and ask for a couple of opinions.

Wuggy - that 38m Calatrava we were discussing is probably your best bet.

Why does it matter? The movado you linked is all black, with no seconds hand and no open back.
I think it is a little stupid to choose a rep that isn't even accurate and runs a 21j movement over a gen.

and this one might suit you even better:

It's manual, it's 8mm thick, it's $68, it's white faced with no fancy stuff, not even a seconds hand, it's Vacheron Constantin... Ok it's 40mm... but a fairly decent rep of the Patrimony Contemporaine (ref 81180/000G-9117)... not fantasy, that is!
