Help me choose my first hublot

Hi,

Im looking for my first hublot.

I have found two watches that I like, what do you guys think of them? Are they top quality reps?

What would you choose from the above?

My friend has a gen big bang evolution 44mm, could I lure him I bought the real one, is it that kind of rep? Im thinking of making a review comparing the both if i choose that one.

They are both great watches. Depends if you want stainless steel or a ceramic case. Ceramic is much more durable but not as versatile as the stainless model. Both are very close to gen, but you shouldn't try and trick people into thinking these are the real thing. Puretime is a great TD as well.. go for it.

A few minute differences in fit and finish but they're close. But again please don't try and pass this off as gen or worse: sell as gen. You'll get in a bunch of trouble.

What kind of trouble if I play it like I got the real one? Just curious. You mean if I meet a professional that can blow my cover?

And no, I would never try to sell it as the gen.

Just stick with V6. Read the Hublot section for more info.

I would stick to the V6 & 6.5 for the most accurate versions. If I were to buy a Hublot all over again I would probably start with this one:

Why is it that some hublots don't have the 'H' engraved on the movement? Is it simply that some gen models don't have it?

Those ones without the 'H' on the movement are not super reps. The super reps are V6 and V6.5 such as the link I posted and the pic above. Reading further on hublot's forum here should help you further.

I spoke with puretime and asked them about the big Bang evolution 44mm, they told me it comes with the correct number of teeths and double AR. I though i needed to buy correct bezel separate, seems not? Can someone confirm this?

People are making the smallest problems a thing with these watches. The bezel teeth are so small you'd have to hold them inches away from your face. You'll be satisfied with the V6 trust me I've owned about 4 or 5 of them.
