I'd also recommend Panerai, but I'd say go for the 690. It dresses up if worn with say a croc or ostrich strap, and dresses down with so many others - a fat ammo, a canvas, gunny or whatever. A great watch! It's my most commented on watch.

I have small wrists so instead of the JF 15400, I went with the 37mm 15450:

That's the Gen, but the reps are very good too. There were a few factories that did it, some better than others, but even the 'bad' versions are beautiful. I think they're all out of stock now so you need to hit M2M.
