Help Ease My Nerves Please, 2-3 weeks until QC

Placed an order with Steve from TheOneWatches a couple of days ago for a VSF Sub 126610LN. Paid in full via PP FF ($558).
Sent a message today asking for an estimate for how long until QC, and he said it's 2-3 weeks.
From all of the posts I have been seeing, it's usually 2-3 days for such a common watch. Just want to know if this is odd to anyone.

It's my first time purchasing, so I'm a bit nervous. Apologies as well if this is the wrong place to post. I didn't know where was most appropriate will remove this and post it elsewhere if necessary.

Steve is a good operator, I have dealt with him many times.
QC will come just be patient, just means he might not have stock right this minute of what you ordered but he will get it.

No, why would it be odd?

Waiting times for QC range from a few hours to a few months. There are a lot of factors at play.

No need to be nervous or worried. That's why a TD is a TD. The T stands for Scam.

Just kidding. It stands for Trusted. The whole idea is that your money is safe with them — regardless of how long it takes for the factory to deliver your watch.

No need to worry. Dealers don't often hold watches in stock. So when you order from them, they order from the factory. It can be days, weeks, or in extreme cases month or two until the TD gets the watch.

However, if a dealer tells me 2-3 weeks, I round up to 3-5 weeks.

Vsf releases their watches in batches, like twice a month. They just released their last batch so yeah 2-3 weeks until the next one sounds right.
