Hey guys just got my first Rep., a Speedmaster Pro from Marvelous Replicas to add to my humble Omega Collection.
I must admit that I was a bit worried about the process but Marv made the experience quite smooth. Good communication and prompt shipment. The lume is a bit greener than I imagined but everything else is spot on with the QC pics. I really love this piece. This is my 1st rep but I seriously doubt that it'll be my last… The bug bit me.
I've already got a domed crystal that I'll throw on this weekend… when I tackle the 6 o'clock sub-dial freeze. I'd also love to relume it in a whiter tint but I'm not brave enough for such a DIY project. Can anyone recommend a modder to do this for me? How much would this typically cost?
Anyway... Here's a Pic new moonie rep. sitting next to her older sisters: a Gen. Omega Jumbo Cal 265 Circa 1946 (redialed) and a Gen. Seamster Calendar Cal 503 Circa 1956 (also redialed).
