Hello from NJ, got my first replica watch

Hello all, i just bought my first Replica !

My first noob question im sure has been asked before so i appoligize in advance. I purchased an Asian 2836-2 movement. How do i know that im getting this movement and not an Asian 2813 movement which is a lot cheaper.

If you bought it from a TD, 99% chance you got the right movement. If you have doubts, open up the caseback and compare what you see to the pics of movements we have on the forum, you could search for those. If you still have trouble, post a picture of the movement, and others can help you out.

Some small tips:

A 2813 doesn't sweep like a 2836 does, the 2836 is much smoother.

Anyway, if you purchase a A2836, chances are, you will get a A2836. A TD will not purposely screw you with a lesser movement - 2813

you can also go to youtube, and search for 2813 vs 2836.... there are a few videos of both movements side by side, shows you the difference in the sweep.... welcome aboard.....

The 2836 is a 28k beats per hour movt. The 2813 is only 21k.

You will need to sit with the watch to your ear for one hour and count the beats!
